Worst hospital I’ve ever been too, they charge patients to discharge got a bill in tbe mail for 303 dollars just for being seen by the hematologist for 5 seconds. I’ll go to providence from now on. The care here is beyond sickening. Plus let’s not forget the nurse that murdered people by injecting them with tap water.

Honestly terrible hospitality. We had the pleasure of delivering our baby at Providence but then the misfortune of having to transport the baby to Asante. The nicu staff is so unfriendly and terrible at communication. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

They like to "miss charge" your account for months without telling you then just pull out 3 months of back pay with no heads up.

I got a call from my Dad's roommate, telling me My Dad was being taken to The hospital via ambulance that he had another stroke. I got to the hospital before he did and was panicked, passing the place. Every ambulance that pulled in I ran to see if it was my dad. And each time no. So I'm sitting down waiting to see if I can see another ambulance pull in went to restroom came out and started to sit. The woman at the front desk and calls me over. She tells me my dad just arrived it would be a few more minutes until I could go back and see if , if he is stable or at least somewhat stable. 10 min go by she calls me over and tells me I can go back and where to go. Upon arriving outside his room..His nurse intoduces herself and asks if I have any questions or would like something to drink . He has been there since feb24, and each time I go up to see him his nurses explain to me how he is doing and ask if I have any questions. They are very nice and gental with my dad. And talk to him making sure he is okay. With the investigation going on , that involves rogue valley hospita I thought that a review would be nice so people can see that just because one Nurse made Several wrong choices and had no regard for patients well being ,that doesn't mean all nurses are like that. Some go above and beyond there job discriptions. They are amazing and wonderful peope. l

A good friend died here two weeks ago. Asante took exceptional care of her over the two and a half years it took for fentanyl to destroy her. She never had anything good to say about the nurses, the doctors or the hospital but I was witness to the extraordinary care they took of her. Their attempts to heal her, their treatment of her and their dedication to service was amazing to watch. Drug addiction is a horrible thing to witness and I am sure there were times when the staff at Asante were tired and disappointed in my friend's determination to remain addicted. Yet, time and time again they treated her as a valuable, redeemable soul who was capable of successful recovery. They had to remove her from life support in the end but she died in a place where people cared. Thank you, Asante!

My mom's doctor ordered some essential imaging before discharge. The techs were backed up with emergency orders and my mom was going to leave anyway, so Luke the charge nurse worked really hard to get Keenan the imaging guy to stop everything and make sure my mom got the imaging before she left the hospital. If she tried to get it done as an outpatient it would have taken weeks. Thank you all so much for taking such good care of her!

I can’t praise Asante Rogue Regional more for the truly compassionate, professional and highly skilled care I received before, during, and after surgery last week. Dr. MacLeod and his team, Dr. DeVries, and all the nurses and cna’s that I came in contact with were amazing in their ability to make me feel that I was in excellent and safe hands. This meant so much to my family and I. Thank you Asante for all you do to ensure that so many patients have access to such a skilled facility.

I visited the Asante medford Er this evening. And I will never again step foot in an Asante establishment. The lack of human decency I received from several employees, let alone the many hours I sat in excruciating pain. I was prematurely warned that if I was to decide I wanted to leave and didn't seek there assistance in removing my iv that they would be calling the police. I thought that was a very strange statement to be told, I have never felt the need to leave any healthcare facility prematurely . But after a 5 hour wait and watching the entire waiting room be called back and discharged and filled up again I was done. I decided I'd rather die in my home then continue to experience the level of pain and discomfort in a waiting room that was genuinely disconcerned with my health or survival. So I requested to have my iv removed so I could leave. The receptionist didn't seem to take me seriously as she continued to sit and not request assistance for me. So I waited. As more and more people filed into the er I asked again for assistance. I was told I needed to wait for a room to empty to have it taken out. I was approached by a girl that looked to be dressed in regular clothing with minimal indication she was a hospital employee tell me again I had to wait. For a room to empty up. So I asked why that was why couldn't it just be removed I wasn't in an empty room when it was put into my arm. At this point I was done and I was feeling ignored unheard and trapped and I was ready to go. I asked her to call the police so I could get some assistance. And she walked away to retrieve a very hostile female nurse and a male nurse who stood several feet away with his phone out looking as if he was recording our interaction. Immediately this nurse escalated the situation immensely. When I expressed to this nurse that I changed my mind and didn't want to be seen at this er and I wanted to go. She proceeded to tell me that the world didn't revolve around me and that they were waiting for the labs I had given earlier to come back. Regardless of what they were waiting on there was no way I would stay in your facility and be treated for anything by staff who were as unwilling to be helpful to me. I told her once again I wasnt going to wait for the labs that I had decided I wanted to go. She proceeded to tell me she could care less if I stayed went and she preferred that I did go. She was aggressive while grabbing my arm and unnecessary squeezing it while she informed me I would bleed everywhere. Then she removed the iv in the most hurtful manor. I have never had a iv feel like it was ripping threw my flesh and tendons as it was ripped from my arm. I had no idea that it could be removed in such a painful way. I don't feel like any of this was necessary, I do not understand why I was treated so carelessly in your facility. Today I came to your hospital because I felt I needed help. I genuinely thought I was dying. To in the end make the decision I'd rather die at home then in a waiting room where I was treated like unwanted garbage. I wasn't given anything to stop the bleeding I was told to fold my arm and use my finger. I have a history of hemiplegic migraines, my father died at 46 from a migraine that ended in an aneurysm. I take my migraines very seriously and I have never been treated like they were anything other than serious. But today I was ignored demeaned and physically hurt by the staff at the Asante er when I came to them for help. Today I experienced the worst migraine I have ever had in my 38 years of life. I had sensations and effects that I have never before felt and pain that surpassed any other migraine I have ever experienced . Today I genuinely believed I was going to die. In general I go to great lengths to not end up in a er I try to manage my issues with my primary care and keep your er freed up from something as trivial as head pain but today I failed to. I suffered extensively while traveling to the er, while I sat in the bright lights and horrific brain piercing noi

My husband had to go to the surgery center and we had an awesome experience with the guy at the front desk. I think his name was James Brown. He was just to nice and friendly, always making sure everyone was comfortable and remembering everyone's names. It is nice in this day and age to experience such excellent customer service.

I was in the hospital for 4 days and then transferred to the rehab facility on the 4th floor. The nurses, CNA’s, PT and OT staff were excellent. They all provided sensitive care with high level of respect of me. I am very grateful for the care I received during my 3 week stay.
