“For a TON of reasons, we will never take our dogs anywhere but Paws animal hospital.
Dr. Johnson is incredible!! The staff is personable. Caring, just plain stellar human beings!
When our Yorkie had pneumonia for the 2nd time, Dr. Johnson stayed open late, caught it right away, and it was actually affordable!!
When our Great dame, Bo, Beaded neutered I looked at the cost from South of Portland all the way to Springfield....I literally called 29 vet offices.
The costs were OUTRAGEOUS!! But.....Paws??? Not only was it the least expensive, but he was given more care, free check ups, better and more medication. We called with an issue and he was seen, THAT DAY!
I later found out that Dr. Johnson keeps some appointments open during the day for emergencies.
I am a retired nurse, so I am a bit snobbish and picky when it comes to medical care for my fur babies.
I not only have been impressed with their kindness and the calm inviting way they approach the human parents, but I honestly don't know how they stay open by charging BELOW what other places do!
My great dane's neutering would have been over $1500!! We wanted all the blood work, extras, ect. But it did NOT include post-op pain control....He was from a rescue, so we wanted to be careful and sure he was healthy.
Guess how much Paws charged us??
With all the blood work, medications, antibiotics, pain medication, EVERYTHING....$429
AND his 2 follow up appointments were free!
I know I sound like an ad...but I truly can't express how much our family adores Dr. Johnson and her staff!!”
“I had a wonderful experience here recently! My GS developed swelling on one side of her face all of a sudden and I had called my vets office to see if I could get her in & they told me they could make me an appointment for the following week or bring her in to urgent care but the price would be higher. They didn't bother to tell me that urgent care was only from 9am to 2pm and they were closed until the following Sunday & I had called them on Wednesday. I called Lebanon Animal Hospital & they had me bring her in first thing the next morning. I was able to leave her there while they observed her after the vet examination & giving her medication to make sure she didn't have any bad reactions & her swelling was down. The vet tech Morgan is absolutely wonderful & did a fabulous job communicating with me through the day. The vet Sarah V. is absolutely amazing! She truly cares about your animals well being & does a wonderful job explaining the follow up procedures. AND they didn't charge me an arm & a leg or try to sell me anything unnecessarily! I will be switching ALL of my animals care over to Lebanon Animal Hospital!!”
“We had what we thought was an end of life emergency with our 14 year old cat. Of course it was on the Christmas Holiday weekend. Dr Hiatt was in the office with a full staff, and was able to see us right away. He was concerned, compassionate, and helpful. What turned out to be a flea allergy and a puffed-up bottom lip, was taken care of without an emergency fee of any kind, and we were sent home with a cat who is recovering nicely. Very compassionate group of folks, very helpful, and thorough. Thank you!”
“You can trust the doctors and each and every one of their staff! I will never go anywhere else! Last December we had to have our 12 year old Pit put down, one of the hardest days of our lives. We were so amazed at the level of compassion and care that our Bella received!!! I wish I could give them 10 stars, they deserve it!!!”
