“5 star experience for my daughter’s FIRST SKATEBOARD! Devon was fantastic. 10/10 dude. It was late & he stayed past closing to help us. A lot of great information and got to commiserate over the good ol’ days of the 90’s. Educated us on the board & fully assembled it for us (very knowledgeable, very patient, very friendly and not in a weird way). Even gave my kid a free lesson at the end! “We live down south, but somehow my husband managed to come across this store when searching for a pair of very hard to find Ugg Slippers for our teenage daughter. We placed an order for the last available pair, which just happened to be in her size (we hope). We were going to pay extra for 3-day shipping, but then couldn’t find the option when checking out. So we went ahead and placed the order hoping for the best that they would arrive in time for Christmas. The next day Andrew called to say that they would definitely arrive after Christmas, if that is what he had ordered them for. Then offered 3-day shipping if we would like for them to arrive in time for Christmas. We happily paid the extra cost to expedite to make sure they got to us in time and they were even delivered a day early! From what I gather, this store is more for seat covers. But I highly recommend this store! Great service!”

“Greetings upon walking in. Made to feel comfortable and welcomed. Staff seemed very knowledgeable. They do treadmill gait test and test you in different shoes for fit and feel. Now for the ultimate test - walking without pain.”
“I have been dreaming of a place like this for many years. I got into the barefoot movement long ago and there were so few shoes available. Now it's possible to walk into a place where you can try out all of these different brands and approaches for yourself. That would've been amazing. But the staff are also so helpful and knowledgeable, and every time I've been in there I've also had great conversations with the other people shopping. If you've ever been the least bit curious about this other way of walking and living and experiencing, don't hesitate to come by this delightful place of welcome and exploration.”
“Edit: I’m very impressed with the fact that the store owner contacted me regarding my first review. He was very concerned and offered me a small discount on a pair of shoes. Im very impressed with how humble he is. He didn’t make excuses and took responsibility and that show’s character. So I’m updating my review to reflect the dedication this owner has towards maintaining a good name. I still really want to try out more Topo shoes so I will be trying them again at a different location that is bigger and is able to carry a larger stock. I really like the quality of shoes they offer. As we get older we have to take care of our feet and the foot traffic will help with that.As others said the selection is Tiny compared to their other location so my suggestion is to call ahead of time.I did go ahead and erase my other review because in hindsight it was hasty. If I had an issue I should have contacted a higher up person and given them the chance to offer a resolution before running to the internet.”
“I’d been struggling to find a good pair of work boots that fit my feet properly and Victor was extremely helpful in helping me get fitted into a pair of Thorogoods that are working great! Most boot shops want you in and out but Victor really took his time to help me make sure I got something that was going to work for me - even though I showed up not too long before close. BootCo NW is a great place and I couldn’t recommend them enough. They’ve got my business for life. Thanks again Victor!”

“Going to Jay’s is like the first class shoe stores of the past, salespeople that know their products very well, they listen to your concerns, talk about the shoe as they help put the shoe on and off. They actually measure your feet! They evaluate your stride and really know what they are talking about.I have 4E width and one foot with a little claw toe so have unusual needs in feet. My podiatrist Dr. Steve Tillett recommended Jays and because I live on the Westside it took me a while to come over to Jay’s Clackamas location. I wish I had come over sooner!I came into to buy some walking shoes and hiking boots. The salesperson showed me a variety of both styles and I walked out the door with Keene shoes and Dunham boots. I’ve had them for a couple,of weeks and they are fitting great.IF YOU HAVE WIDE FEET AND LIVE ANYWHERE NEAR THE PORTLAND METRO AREA, GO TO JAY’S!!!!”

“I came in 3/13 a Wednesday afternoon to a busy store and was immediately greeted. The guy that was there was busy with another customer but still acknowledged me and asked what I was looking for. He found what I was looking for (cool gray 11s) but unfortunately they were out of my current budget. I was indecisive and he could see that so he asked me what I was in to and showed me some cheaper options. I left with some red cement 4s, my first pair of 4s and I couldn't be happier. Prices are a bit high here but that's understandable, I'm sure washington square rent isn't cheap plus I would rather support local business so it's worth it to me, thank you!!!”
