I have been taking my dog to Lexidog for eight years and highly recommend them. I use daycare, grooming and boarding and have never had anything but good experiences during all this time. My dog loves it there. The attendants and groomers are so loving and skillful in working with the dogs. Your dog will have to pass an assessment to assure compatibility with the current canines. I’m retired now and don’t really need to take Elsa in very often but do anyway several times weekly, because the exercise and socialization are so good for her.

They took 3 hours to groom our dog and when we came back we saw the daycare guy on video making rounds spraying dogs in the face. The front desk said the spraying was to get the dogs to stop barking but his presence seemed to be causing barking. Everything I know about face spraying is it is cruel. I wouldn’t trust them with my dog again.

LexiDog in Lake Oswego is one of the best doggie daycare, boarding, and grooming facilities we have ever taken our chocolate lab too. When we first moved to the Portland area we needed to find a regular place for daycare, grooming and boarding for our pup. LexiDog has been amazing, caring, and accommodating to our pup every time. All of their staff are truly amazing and love all the dogs.

We go to LexiDog for Krissy. She is the best groomer and cares so much for our dogs. We have 2 Bernese mountain dogs and a leonberger and they always come out floofy and happy.

I do NOT recommend! I used to work at the Pearl location (now closed), and I was appalled at how poorly run this business is. Daycare is too small for 40+ dogs, there are no planned activities, dogs get bored and bark all day, and then get screamed at by the clueless staff. Dogs get hurt and their injuries are not seen and taken care of right away. There are safety concerns for the staff and dogs, some negligence and sanitary issues. There are questionable management methods, disrespectful staff members, unethical treatment of staff by the owner, an unorganized system, and outdated business practices. There is a high turnover of employees, no training offered in dog behavior or first aid, constant miscommunication between staff members, and passive management who refuse to fix ongoing problems. All the incompetence at this business constantly puts the dog's safety at risk. On a daily basis during nap time some dogs are put into crates, then stacked on top of each other and put in a small closet with the door closed for over an hour! I was blamed for something that I didn't do, was screamed at and told by management that I couldn't leave, it was traumatizing. The owner has questionable judgement, and uses manipulation and intimidation to control her employees. The owner doesn't give the employees their tips! Not a safe place to take your dog and a terrible place to be employed. Over 10 years of being in business and they still do not have their act together! Suzanne, you need to do better and treat other women with respect. Your business is failing because of your incompetence.

Krissy does a fabulous job grooming Wonton and Porter. She cuts their ears to the leather so they don't get wet from the water bowl, and they always smell great! So handsome!

Worse experience, took my mini labradoodle for a cut, first thing the girl says is nice and short, I say no just a little shorter and round around his face. Came back to pick him up he literally has about half of inch of hair. Then she goes everyone gets their doodle cut like this, it’s a summer cut. Just ridiculous. Didn’t even cut his tail down. Just had a cut two weeks ago. I see another review here with the same breeding and similar complaints. Don’t even know what to say. Seems like they made a mistake, and as soon as I saw him and said OMG it’s so short everyone scattered and left me in the waiting room alone! Was refunded no questions asked 10 mins later.

Place reeks of urine. Front desk associate was rude, said my dog would be done at 4PM. Go to get him and they say come back 5:20. they Didn’t think to call or anything! Keep in mind his appointment was at 10AM. What takes 7 hours to groom a dog?!

This is such an awesome place to take your dogs to! I love the staff and I feel comfortable leaving my puppy there for training/play time. Amanda is a great trainer and I can tell that she really cares about the dogs there. I don’t know everyone else’s name, but the rest of staff is friendly and super knowledgeable! Calcifer LOVES being there and looks forward to his Monday visits.

Staff is rude and dismissive. I recently moved and was only able to locate half of my dog's vaccination records. But since he was due for his shots in January 2023, I figured I would just get them all done before the next appt. When I asked to reschedule for a future appt, the woman refused and told me there was no point to reschedule since I won't be able to get into a vet for weeks or even before the first of the year. I called my vet when I left and my dog was vaccinated by the following week. Don't bother taking your dog here. If they treat humans that poorly, I can't imagine what they do to dogs when the owners aren't around.
