Words cannot express my gratitude to this shop. Bre is a superstar mechanic and this shop is the only one that was able to help me get my T-47 BB faced on a custom frame that came back from the painters. Not only did they knock it out of the park but they did it fast AF! They are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and talented when it comes to bikes. Don't forget to take a look at the collection hanging on the wall when you visit, they've got an awesome collection to boot!

I've been riding/commuting/racing for 45yrs, from multi-day trips, century rides, RR's, TT's, Crits, XC, CX, and track; and I've been to bike shops for service/sales in multiple states and two continents. I put Lakeside Bicycles in the Top 10% when it comes to service/sales, communications, technical/mechanical skills, and people who have a great passion for what they do. Absolutely superbe mechanical and bike-fit expertise provided by Bre, Tom, and Peter, and Zak. Gordie and Mark have very deep industry experience and love what they do! Go visit and talk with them! You'll be happy you did!

I had an outstanding exp at lakeside bicycles! Staffs here are professional and detail oriented (thanks Zak/Ted/Mark). They took time to ensure i was fitted perfectly, explained each step of the process and answered all my questions. I am comfortable and confident with my purchase. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic shop! The sales staff is very knowledgeable, personable, and keenly interested in my needs as a cyclist. They take the time to get to know me and my priorities without ever creating a "hard-sell" environment. The right bike, bike fit, and accessories are important decisions and often investments. I trust Lakeside Bicycles to look out for my best interests.
I also think Lakeside Bicycles has one of the best mechanics I have ever taken my bike to. Bre Rue is very knowlegable and just makes sure "things work great." I have taken my bike to other mechanics at other shops and had it returned to me with a mysterious "squeak." They often told me that, "Bikes just sound that way." Instead, when I took my bike to Lakeside Bicycles, Bre gave my bike the best tune-up I ever had. When I later rode it, I felt like I had purchased a new bike. It rode better than I ever remembered and I couldn't be happier! Bre is not only talented but also personable, always making sure to explain everything she did to your bike. Thanks Bre!

Great friendly shop that is well supplied from high end bikes to economical ones. Peter and Bree are great service technicians. Highly recommend this shop. Having ridden over 9400 miles last year and frequented many shops, this is my “go to”.

What a great shop. I was so impressed by the customer care provided by Ted and Mary. I brought in a classic Allez for maintenance with some hesitation. Have been to too many bike shops over the years unwilling to work on older or “non premium” gear. I could feel immediately that the team at Lakeside just wanted to get me set up for success to have a fun ride, budget regardless. Thank you very much. I will be back and certainly will recommend this shop to others.

We had a really great customer service experience at lakeside bicycles! While shopping for a full suspension mountain bike, we made the mistake of visiting a few "high end" bicycle stores in Portland and Beaverton. Sticker shock does not even begin to cover it $$$!!! So after ordering a bicycle online from Giant, we had it shipped to lakeside bikes. They called to ensure that they had received the correct model size and color, They assembled it free of charge. They have been nothing but friendly and helpful. Moving forward we plan to use lakeside for a
ll our maintenance and new bike purchases.

Had a really bad experience with Lakeside Bicycles. I had a bike breakdown right in front of the shop on my commute home. I immediately brought my bike in for emergency repair. They fixed the issue by selling me close to $400.00 in bike parts and their mechanic installed everything in their shop. A couple months later I came back in to get a new bike chain installed, but was told they would NOT work on my bike, despite them having sold and installed the major components on my bike. I was astonished, they were willing to sell me expensive components, installed those components, yet after getting their money they left me high-and-dry. Terrible customer care!!! IMO they care very little for their customers and mostly focus on profiting off their customer's good will. Never again for me, I personally would not recommend this shop, you could be left high-and-dry like me, and you'll be told in a smug manner.

I recently moved to Lake Oswego and Lakeside has become my go-to bike shop.
First off, I had an amazing bike fitting experience, that was both extremely thorough and educational. Zak, the fitter, uses a 3D motion capture system called RETUL that allowed us to benchmark my old bike and optimize the setup on my new one. I learned a lot about my body and where some of my previous aches and pains may be coming from. The process took about 3 hrs and Zak looked at every setup element, from cleat position, to bar roll, to crank length. Whilst advising me as to what components I may want to switch out, he understood that I was working within a budget and just wanted to optimize the parts that came on the bike for now. Although I think i will be making some changes in the future based of his advice... Couldn't recommend this service enough for folks that are serious about cycling and/or are having pain on the bike.
Secondly, Brie and her team in service are awesome. They're extremely knowledgable and go out of their way to help. Just last week I needed a part modified for my mountain bike and they did the work while i waited for no charge. Just a really great experience all round.
Nice to have a local shop full of passionate people that know their stuff!

I bought my first bicycle here in high school in 2003, and am always happy when I have a chance to come back. Fast forward 20+ years and a creak issue on my Kona I've been trying to resolve for months. The attention to detail that the guys have shown in solving the problem blew my mind. Beyond excellent and friendly service. I look forward to getting back on my bike, and more importantly making my next purchase here again!
