“I opt to grab dinner here instead of going to a restaurant while traveling for work. There are varying hot food options, along with side dish options and drinks. I feel like I eat healthier and for less money than dining out.”

“Location is great, right off McVey and the parking lot is large enough to always be able to park but not so big you have to walk far to enter the store. Fresh but very costly produce and baked goods. Pretty limited frozen items selection. Nice wine selection! Great for some grab and go lunch if price is not a concern. They have a hot soup bar, hot and fresh pizza slices, a hot deli counter, a barista, and a bakery. There is a dining area indoors and out. The covered dining area outdoors has heaters mounted above the area but I've never seen them turned on. There is a Mudbay store in the same lot and also a pizza/pub with outdoor seating. Overall a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. We have gotten Thanksgiving dinner catered by this store for a few years and everything has always been great.”

“The staff is always friendly and helpful. The meat, fish and vegetables are top fare. And they've got a great selection of small desserts if you need something special in a hurry. Also a great place to grab lunch, with indoor and outdoor seating.”

“An abbreviated WF, but it is bright, clean, and has very wide isles, making for a very pleasant experience. A good part of the store has no high shelves, making it feel very open. Nice staff, too.”

“Mini farmers market in the middle of a parking lot. Weird placement but cute. Decent selection of fresh fruit and veg, with some baked good options. Moderately priced.”

“Looking for a floral shop, my son suggested Safeway. I was really thinking of an actual floral shop. I felt I could probably get a beautiful arrangement because it's what they do all day. Against my hesitation, we went. Suzanne greeted us and asked if we needed help. I told her I was celebrating my son-in-law and bringing him some flowers for landing the job he's been waiting to get for some time. She showed me some floral arrangements. I found this beautiful arrangement that was perfect! Vibrant in color and just the right size. Suzanne added some orange roses, which really brightened the whole arrangement. Suzanne went the extra mile, adding her personal touch to it! It was absolutely beautiful when she was done! We'll be coming back again! Thank you!”

“Today I forgot $2.25 in change at the self-checkout machine. A young worker came running out to me in the parking lot to return it to me. Kudos to him and to the store for employing such upstanding people. I shop regularly at Safeway and will continue to.”

“This Safeway is my go to place for groceries. I've been doing the drive up and go for a little while now. When I got home after picking up my most recent order I noticed 3 bags worth of items missing. I called the store and Alicia Curry the Director (or manager, I can't remember) answered the phone. The day way very hectic and busy for me, so I asked if I could have the store deliver the items for free the following morning. She said the store doesn't deliver, but that she would be happy to bring the groceries to me once she got off work. I said no and that I could get them in the morning, but she kept insisting that she wanted to bring them to me, so I said okay. She turned my negative experience into a positive one and I appreciate the effort she made for me.”
