These guys know how to provide the best customer experience. Even though they couldn't formulate the stain required by a particular HOA, they provided valuable product information, guidance, and education on how to achieve the very best results. Thanks for going above & beyond!

An outstanding Benjamin Moore retailer! We worked with Neil and Drew to help us bring our painting vision to life inside our new home, and everything, from supplies to color choices, was just perfect. The service you receive at this store is fantastic, the advice is sound, and the overall experience is great. The quality of primers and paints is luxuriously top notch. We were taking out some very dark, saturated accent walls, and the recommended tinted primer/paints combo was perfect for the job. A navy bedroom to peachy pink, no problem! Forest green wall to creamy white, no problem. Primer and two coats of Regal paint. wow! Benjamin Moore products cannot be beat. The paint is so thick it does not drip! It is amazing. We will be back for more supplies to paint the remainder of our house interior. And I will drive out to Lake Oswego from Camas, WA because the people at this Dick's Color Center is just the best. Thank you, guys. The whole team is so great! We appreciate you! You made our new house feel like OUR HOME.

Drew and the gang at Dick's in Lake Oswego turned what could have been a $5K-$10K paint job into a $250 one. We recently moved into a home where almost every room had spackled areas from wall hangings. There was no leftover paint and what's more, the paint on the walls had faded somewhat, affecting the color and sheen. We tried an app coupled with a paint fan from another store to try to match the walls. Spent two months experimenting and finally went to Dick's with pieces of our walls. Drew is an artist. He mixed a match for each of the areas and told me how to fan out into the faded part so the eye couldn't tell. Turns out, we didn't even need to fan out! I don't know how he did it, but the color and the sheen matched for all walls. It was a relief to us. Everyone at the shop is professional, on it and friendly. Also, apparently quarts are hard to get nowadays, but we were able to get them at Dick's--great because we didn't need to paint large surfaces. Make this your paint store! You will be VERY pleased! No employees today were wearing masks. When this was pointed out, one employee mockingly held up a mask, but then did not put it on; another said he'd forgotten his. Employees were helping customers in the front of the store, standing next to them, without masks. Unacceptable.

I've been here probably about 15+ times. The staff is really helpful w giving tips on colors, finishes, and hardware to get your project done. And the quality of paint is exceptional. We've considered going back to Behr paint from Home Depot, but we keep coming back here due to great customer service. For Covid stuff - they have plexiglass up & the store usually barely has anyone here. Love this place.

We were on a time crunch and looking to color match our kitchen cabinets and island for some trim work. To order from the manufacturer was longer than we had available in terms of time so we had gone to Sherwin Williams and others to get a color match. In each case the color was off so we knew we couldn't use it especially in such a visible place. We were feeling pretty discouraged until we stopped in here and met Dean. He did such an amazing color match you literally could not tell the difference where the original color started and the one he created. Highly recommend these guys (ask for Dean) for color matching!

I chose this store simply because it was close to my home and I was set on using a Benjamin Moore paint scheme I found on Pinterest. Let me just say that I was more than impressed. These guys didn't try to upsell me on anything. They explained each paint brand, its pros/cons. They offered suggestions. They weren't pushy. I also noticed that their paint supplies weren't marked up ridiculously. Their paint rollers were actually $1 cheaper than the exact ones I'd just purchased at Home Depot. These guys have been great! I will definitely use this store in the future and recommend it to anyone that is looking for paint!

Have been coming here a lot lately because I'm helping friends with the design part of a big remodel. Paint is the easiest way to transform a room, but selecting a paint color is far from easy! Color is a reflection of the light and color around it it so a particular paint color can look vastly different when you paint it on your walls and it reflects the hardwoods, carpets, furniture, etc in the room. I'm pretty good at seeing the "color" and tone in a sample, meaning is the gray pulling blue, brown, sage, purple? After painting several large swatches on the walls, I felt the gray we chose was pulling too much blue so we went back to the store with the goal of finding the same level of saturation but a few spots over on the color wheel so it would have a brown base. Luke was working that evening and when I explained the intention, he chose a color he felt would meet our needs. He also recommended painting the sample color on large 2x3 sheets of paper so we could move the paper to all areas of the room and see it in different lighting conditions. He said he wasn't trying to get us to spend more money, he was making this suggestion because we mentioned how the colors seemed so off because the existing wall is an orange tan. Sure enough, when we painted the samples on white, and put the papers in the wall, we were able to see the color more realistically. The color he suggested ended up being the perfect greige (gray beige) that we were seeking. We came back a few days later to find a pure white for the trim and were running into the same challenges. There is no pure white because white definitely picks up on the colors around it. We were in luck because Luke was there again! We had narrowed it down to Chantilly Lace and Super White. Without telling him our choices, we asked him which white would show as true white against the greige. Now, there are dozens and dozens of whites. Instantly he said Chantilly Lace. We painted more white sheets, put them on the wall, looked at them at night and in the daylight against the greige walls and hardwood floors. Chantilly Lace was the unanimous decision. Now, before we saw Luke, there was someone else working who was not nearly as helpful. In fact, it seemed like he didn't want to answer any of our questions or assist at all when it came to trying to decipher colors and how they would appear. So I think we had several super experiences because of Marcus. We have several more rooms to go, and we will continue to come back to Dick's Color Center / Sherman Williams because of the great advice and fabulous experience working with Luke.
