“Went here yesterday to buy a gift for a friend. Was helped by Taylor and felt compelled to write a review. He was so helpful and explanatory and authentically friendly. He helped me find what I was after and even gave me a free sample. If his manager is reading this, please know these are the employees you want to keep as they make customers feel welcomed.”
“We just purchased one pound of chocolates here. The experience was fantastic, from tasting the most heavenly chocolate to choosing the ones to take home. The woman who assisted us was amazing. She was elegant, attentive, and funny! What a fun treat to take home, after a lovely day if shopping. Thank you! We'll be back at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and certainly at Easter!”
“The ultimate chocolate store experience! Mike helped me find the perfect chocolates for a Christmas gift. He is so jolly and gave me a couple samples… just what I needed to get through a hectic shopping day. Thanks for spreading the holiday cheer, Mike!”
“Sophie D. was the best, excellent customer service! I ordered 3 boxes and she meticulously packed and gift wrapped each one. She offered me a sample 2x, I denied the first one then she asked if I had changed my mind and I gave in! I truly appreciated her attention to detail and work ethic! It’s a rarity these days.”
“This chocolate place, they have really good chocolate. It's unique and the best in town. It's perfect for gifts or any occasion. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent.”

“Every holiday they like to decorate the shop but especially for Christmas. This place has sort of a magical feeling for a young children that you take care. It is a little pricey but you'll find things here that you won't find anywhere else. The staff is friendly.”
“Kristin was really helpful and patient with me. I took a long time to figure out what I wanted to get our family for Christmas. I could tell that she really cared about making it a good experience. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves!”
“Best carmel corn and best cheese corn I've ever had, and it's not even close. I'll literally drive across town to come pick up some bags. Absolutely love them!”
“Lots of candies, sodas and silly knick knacks. Has various vintage devices like the photo booth and fortune teller. Gives off a retro futurism vibe. Stop by if you ever see it.”
“The candy was good that my sister brought from here before. But the prices are insanely expensive. For a small gumball piece its $20 dollars a piece. We can't afford any of that but I have went here before when I came here on my bike and took some pictures during the summertime. So hope all of you guys enjoy the pics, But if you wonder why I don't recommend buying the candy. It's exactly because its unaffordable so yeah we will not ever shop here again ?
Vegetarian options: There is no vegetarian options at Candy Tyme, But their might be some candy here which could suit the sweet tooth of vegetarians here but not always so yeah it's not a restaurant.
Parking: Parking can be a nightmare since it's the Clackamas Town Center Mall. But if you can reserve a parking space your good to go! Its inside the mall so it's no big deal but be prepared to deal with some Karen's over the parking space if you want to make it early here.
Kid-friendliness: There were kids who also came with their parents here to get some candies. I remember coming here and seeing small kids lining up to get some of their favorite candies here which was pretty cool. So yeah it is a kid friendly area for sure.”
“I was once young and intrepid, I traveled the world and got down in the weeds in crowded markets and ate strange foods and bargained for mysterious talismans. I am so much older now and less flexible, but there are certain kinds of shops, certain smells, that bring those years of travel rushing back like a flood in a dry gulch. It was probably the smell of humble temple incense that caught me as I walked past 42nd Street Station in Portland. A small cluster of shops and a great little restaurant. That smell that speaks to me of wandering through bustling Asian markets and stopping by neighborhood temples, of monks mingling in the streets and of constant movement and change. That smell that pulled me into the Himalayan Gifts and Candy as surely as if I had been a fish and I had been hooked.Once inside it was like traveling to far off lands! Himalayan Gifts is absolutely packed with treasures both large and small, both rare and mundane. It is a labyrinth of curiosities and cultural icons. And there… sitting in the middle of this extraordinary collection like a ringmaster of a circus you find Daya! Counselor, Educator, Translator, Interpreter, Entertainer, Proprietor. And you don’t even have to climb to the top of a mountain to find him.The shop has a great collection of Buddhist statues, singing bowls, handmade paper, incense, amount countless other amazing objects. They have candy in jars in the window, educational books, beautiful cards, masks, trinkets, and through it all, wise Daya there to help and advise. To explain the background and history of of objects and their meaning. And maybe to offer a little counseling. He’s a good listener. This is one of those places where you can travel to other lands without leaving your own town. Where you can experience the welcome of the world by stepping off a sidewalk. You can smell a different universe by opening up a door. And isn’t that amazing.”
“This is a candy store and lots to choose from...lots of old time candy from my Grandmother's era (1920s) and lots from the 1980s. It is clean, spotless, brightly lit and most items, along the walls, can be scooped out into your bag of choosing...every candy has its own scoop. The center tables have a variety boxes, cans, bags and containers with special candies in them. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and reserved, polite, helpful but not pushy. It's an haven and an heaven. You don't dine there”
“It's a small shop loaded with a variety of candy. The shop is super clean and workers there are super friendly. They sell Macaroons cookie. The shop is located right inside the Washington Square Mall. Parking is free and it is a wheelchair accessible.”
“Stopped in to visit STACKIN' Kicks at the Mall and found Joe Brown's Carmel Corn located right next door! Bought some peanut butter/chocolate fudge bars....SOOO DELICIOUS!!”

“The BEST LEMON CURD you will EVER, EVER tast. !!!!!!!!!!!!!! A great pity it is not readily available. I have tried everywhere to purchase it. It can be used in any number of creative desserts. You have never tasted anything like this. Nothing!!! can compare to it. Not even imported ones.”
