Rave!! John at The Shop (auto repair) was great and fixed what sounded like a very complicated repair to our Duramax Diesel truck. He was very knowledgeable and generous as he gave us an extremely low price for the time they spent on it. The only rant is that they don't return phone calls but when you consider how small and busy thier shop is it is maybe understandable. It is now my 2nd favorite shop in La Pine... Books, Boxes and BS will always be my number 1!! Thanks John!!

We were just passing through La Pine and our car was making some weird noise. It was a simple fix- thank goodness! & The mechanic fixed our car immediately! It was amazing.

The only reason I gave it a one star is because the options don't let you pick no stars.Absolutely the worse service ever experienced in a business EVER.We called and John said yes have your car towed here and we can get it fixed. OVER a month later and several attempts to call and talk to the owner/mechanic "John" never returned our calls, went there several times a week and either "Doug" said John's not here or the place was closed even during their business hours. One day (after a month later) my husband finally went there and John was finally there and told my husband " we don't know how to fix your car." My husband pushed our car out of the shop and had it towed to The Bend Auto Care, day one there BAM! Car fixed and on the road!!!I will NEVER recommend The Shop Auto Performance to anyone as this place is a joke. I would not even recommend taking a toy car there.Louzy service.

I'd give "The Shop" more than 5 stars if I could. They are the only ones that I'll have work on my truck! John is extremely knowledgable. He is very straight up and honest, reasonably priced, super nice and professional, is pretty good on getting you taken care of and on your way for the most part in emergency situations, and takes the time if needed to explain things along with keeping your best interest in mind when ordering parts to which would benefit you most. His customer service is outstanding! I absolutely adore him and trust him fully. I'm so thankful he was highly recommended to me! That definitely was a Blessing from above and in return I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend him. As far as I'm concerned, John's da Man!!!Services: Check engine light diagnostic

My husband, my sister, brother-in-law and I were on our way to go kayaking . The truck began malfunctioning. We were able to get to The Shop in La Pine. John quickly used his code reader to diagnose what was wrong. He ordered the part, put it in, and we were on our way in about 45 minutes. Thanks SO much!

They were very helpful and treated us incredibly good. On my way to kayaking in Waldo lake my truck started to have problems running. We limped in to them and they read my engine code and ordered a part from Napa. 45 minutes later because of their amazing service we were on the road again and had a great day kayaking. I have never had such caring service anywhere. Because I was from out of town they could have easily over charged me but their price was good and reflected their honest character. Thank you John and Doug!!
