Beautiful, clean, and quiet. We happened to be there when it was hot - 98°-102° and stayed in a cabin. Yes, the cabins get hot during the day, but the nights are cool so you can sleep. We found that keeping the windows open but the curtains drawn during the day helped, and we slept with the windows open. The ceiling fan helps, but I recommend you take individual fans to place by your bed at night if you are visiting in the summer. It was about 70° at 11pm, but by 3am it had cooled to 55°. The cabins are spacious with big bathrooms. I need ADA accommodations and can say the paths out front are difficult. I'm not in a wheelchair and had to be very careful when walking from the picnic table to the ramp. Once on the ramp, everything was great. I did speak with a nice park ranger who works on ADA safety and suggested some changes and he listened to all my issues. We loved that the park is way off any hwy or big road. It's super quiet with no truck or traffic noise. All of the visitors were there for one sport or another - kayak, canoe, paddle board, fishing, biking - the park cleared out early with folks back by dinner. We loved our stay. Can't wait to visit again.

Stayed in the RV park, sites are a little close together but there was still enough space. Lots of trails to walk, some are by the river:) even when it was hot it was still ok, edges of the day were cool and nice.

Love this place, spaces are big, shady, showers, court yards to play games in. Far enough away that u ain't going to smell it.

This park is in a lovely location in the foothills of the Cascades. The are lots of hiking trails. A lovely river, the Deschutes, to paddle, fish, or boat on. The campground has lively sites in three loops.
Walkability: Trails are easy.

This is a Campground, but it has some cabins you can rent. We had our trailer with full hook ups. We were on the outside of the M loop, the Deschutes river is quite close, there is a very nice path along if. You can raft from anywhere along here to
the get out near the entrance, we were told you can safely float all the way to Sunriver.
It was well maintained and we highly recommend.

Stopped to have lunch at day use area. You walk a short ways down to the river and there are clean bathrooms and picnic tables. So peaceful!

Nice hiking, walking and horseback riding trails. Easy terrain, however, if you have a horse that needs a lot of redirection, the trails are narrow. It would be better to work with your horse where there are wider trails to turn all the way around without bumping into logs, etc. for safety.
Walkability: Easy walking trail.

Great place but didn't see any bathrooms or Porta potties around so be sure to make a stop somewhere first.

We stayed 5/30/2024. We had site 53, it was a decent sized site with electric, water, and sewer backed up with pine trees. No cell signal. I went by the "club house" and connected to the wifi but it was awful slow. Site were full and too close together with nothing in between. Shower and restrooms were clean but took a while to get hot water.

We visited mid-April. It was beautiful and serene. We went to see the largest Ponderosa Pine tree in Oregon. And we found the park to be a pleasant surprise. Definitely coming back to camp on site.
