No price match!! They claim they have price match however you must bring a sales ad in. What if the item isn't on sale but rather it's a lower price elsewhere? You MUST go physically to that store and take a picture and only then will Home Depot match the price. Please use logic oh big box store!!!! If I'm going to go take a picture well then I'll just go ahead and buy it there. Isn't it easier just to say you really don't offer price match?

We were able to find almost everything we needed. But during checkout the manager was rude with the prices of the fence panels. The rang up at 149. Each and the sign outside said 144. He did not have a friendly demeanor helping the girl adjust the price to match what the panels were advertised for. Then the fence panels were nailed together and we asked an employee of he had a hammer to help us get the panels apart he just said no and kept walking into the store. We were not happy with customer service

Very helpful staff. Willing to help instead of running away and avoiding eye contact like other stores.

They typically have what I need. I've noticed that the night workers are much more likely to know where things are and they are much friendlier and willing to help.

Sometimes it is a hit and sometimes it is a mess. Usually depends on the employees and how long it take them to help. Prices are fair and I always check for special sales.

We went into Home Depot for last minute shopping and the worker there named Odi was super nice and helped us with our checkout. She had a positive attitude and was very kind to our client with disabilities. People like her are the joy in the holidays.

Then some employee with the offer to help came thru. They have people designated to load your stuff and I like that.

I ordered windows for my home, from Home Depot, in August 2023. I'm a fully disabled vet and cannot do much in the way of physical labor. I told the sales rep up front of this. I liked the windows and the price. The sales rep had walked around the house to inspect the windows before we spoke. He waited until AFTER the contract was signed and the finance was done then, tells me I have to remove the trim work. Isn't that part of a window install job? Or, am I mistaken? The rep insisted I had to remove the trim. How am I supposed to do that in my condition? Also, if I had removed the trim work, the house would be sitting with exposed wood and the cold wind blowing into the house for 4 months. As it is, I'm paying upwards of $300 a month for electricity to heat the house while waiting for the install. I made the mistake of paying for the complete job up front. Bad move. The rep came back and made a addendum to the contract adding another $2169.00 to remove the trim work and replace it. The windows were built and ready to be installed the first part of November. Home Depot called to set up an install date for Monday, Nov 13th. Called Friday to say the installer had a family emergency. Understandable, to a point. Set the appointment for Nov 21st. Called again on Monday, Nov 28th with another excuse the Home Depot manager had a meeting to go to. Who cares? He's not necessary to install the windows Set the appointment for Dec 5th. Home Depot called again stating one of the workers did not have a certificate. What certificate? I asked then, he's not qualified? Woman on the phone says, oh, he is. Then, why the need for a certificate? Looked up any form of a certificate needed for a worker to install windows in the sate of Oregon and Klamath County. I could find no such need. The weather was more than acceptable on all these dates. Dec 5th it in the low 50's as an example. I'm getting the run around and out $7696.98 at this point. I still owe the $2169.00 when completed. It maybe time for ligation. Only thing these corporations understand is money. If they can get yours without a fight they'll gladly take it and, think nothing of it. I've even called the finance company to no avail. Do not deal with this company as a veteran.

I usually don’t leave reviews, because I think upper management will do what they want anyway. However ever time I go in to the store it’s always a stressful experience getting an order. The reason for the 4 stars though instead of 1 star is because of the people that work there. Crystal, Sierra and Jill at customer service are always so nice and pleasant in getting my order or trying to fix problems if they can. 3 of the management staff are also great. In particular James. He is really ‘old school’ when it comes to customer service. He said straight out, if we lose $20.00 on one item but we are doing the right thing for our customers we always make it up in the long run. In the evenings, Jeremy is the same way. He will always help to make the customer feel appreciated. I also like Dave too who is an assistant manager. He will follow up and make sure things are running well. Advice to upper management. Pay a higher wage then turn over would stop and people would stop calling in sick. Saves money in the long run.

We purchased a coat with our visa. The coat was the wrong size. We returned it and exchanged it. A few days later we decided we didn't want the coat. When we tried to return to return it the store would only give a store credit. We wanted this taken off our visa . They said they couldn't do it. ?

This review is in regards to Home Depot Home Services, not the installers who performed the work. More than a year ago, I had my house measured for some new windows - half of all of the windows in my home in fact. I was told there would be a six month wait, (COVID supply issues, lack of service personnel, etc) which turned into a year. Installation day came and one of the windows was made wrong but installed anyways. I complained and a new window was ordered. The windows are all 100% paid for, which they were before installation ever happened. To date, the windows have been installed since June of 2023 and I still have an incorrectly-made window with no update as to if it will ever be replaced. I was also offered a discount for my troubles, which was never completed.Do not ever, under ANY circumstances - pay Home Depot to install anything for your home. You will be let down - guaranteed.Home Depot has had more than a YEAR to make this right, and they still haven't even come close. They deserve every word of this poor review.
