Fun place to have indoor practice. Make sure you have an extension cord and dimple balls with you for the pitching machine. Facility is large enough and can run several player stations.

Drove by property on way to Keizer Station. now …what a freaking embarrassment to the City of Keizer community. Property not taken care of and looks like trash. Garbage, weeds, torn materials and landscaping are beyond out of control… zero pride of the family that leases the property. What a DUMP - What a welcome to Keizer ?.

We had a blast at the game. Tickets are reasonably priced and the stadium has updated the food options. They also have a firework show on certain nights of the week. Fun for the whole family.

When I go to a ball game I want the whole shabang! It literally takes 1/2 the game if not more to stand in line for food and drinks! I wish this would be fixed. Season after season the refreshment stand is horrific.

Easy access to or from the freeway with lots of good parking. Really a fun time for all who come to see the game. Lots of food variety and friendly staff with great seating or go along 3rd base area and sit on the grass. Reasonable pricing and sometimes there are fireworks after the game. Lots of fun!!!!!

(8/18/1018) I love baseball and had only been to one game all year to date (an MLB game in Kansas City back in April). After a rough few days personally (RIP Scooter), finding that my “hometown†Hillsboro Hops were playing in nearby Salem-Keizer was exactly what the doctor ordered. Volcanoes Stadium isn't an exceptional stadium in terms of design or amenities...in fact it's one of the blandest stadiums I've visited in terms of design. Set just to the west of Interstate 5, there's a fair amount of traffic noise zipping past just beyond the right field fence. The ballpark is set in a treeless sea of asphalt-covered parking (seriously, were there no requirements to landscape in any way?!?) and the park itself looks like a bad 1980s office park from the outside. Inside is better: a wide enough concourse behind home plate with private box seats perched above. The press box is open and it's right behind home plate, so one can hear the PA and radio broadcasts easily. There are perhaps 10 rows of seats behind home plate and an extra 10 rows above the concourse down both lines. Bleacher seating and a “party area†down the right field line and a picnic table-lined berm along left field line and for a portion beyond outfield wall. The play on the field was typical of Class A ball; these guys are several steps from the majors and for many they're only a year or two removed from college or high school level competition. The crowd leaned toward the hometown Volcanoes (a San Francisco Giants affiliate) though a fair number of fans had made the <1 hour trip down from the Portland area to support the Hops. Crowd was generally subdued, not making much noise unless prompted by the PA or the occasional on-field action (not much offense most of the game). I'd estimate about 1,500-2,000 fans in attendance in a stadium that seats probably 5,000(?).Concessions seemed decent and not priced as highly as some TA and Yelp reviews had made them out to be. A big bratwurst was $6 and grilled peppers/onions were an extra $1. A huge soda was $4 (they serve RC, not Coke or Pepsi - so what? My advice is to get the excellent craft root beer! Thanks to the young woman at the 3rd base concessions near home plate for the recommendation!). Other prices seemed decent, too... more expensive than at home for sure, but less than at most concerts, festivals and certainly major league sports events).Tickets are reasonable. They have an odd pricing uptick of $2 for premium games (weekends and special events)...so my grandstand ticket was $14, when on some nights it would have been $12. Whatever... this night was special because it was both a Saturday vs. a local rival AND because Hall of Fame pitcher Gaylord Perry made a special appearance and signed hundreds of autographs (free of charge) for at least 2 hours straight AND he underhand-tossed the ceremonial first pitch âš¾ï¸ (not bad for a guy nearing 80!).All in all, a fun time and quite worth the trip. Oh, the Hops won 4-2... 😄🎉

We've been coming here off and on since the original opening night. We had season tickets for 5 years, but decided to put our money elsewhere for summer entertainment after getting discouraged with service and attention to detail such as bathroom maintenance and the quality and availability of the food and service towards the end of a home stand. After attending one of the first games of the 2018 season, nothing has changed. The PA system is non-existent so you do not know what is going on, the price of the food is high for what you get, especially if you want it warm, and the concession stands close well before the end of the game. With that said, if you like baseball, manage your expectations knowing it is a farm team - including the food and service - and go have a Hot Dog with the kids. The new play yard is a lot of fun and keeps them from getting bored. Suggest that you purchase tickets on the visitor's side down third baseline as the sun can be unbearable on the first baseline.

Went here for the Fourth of July game, and it's overall alright (with a few flaws). If you don't purchase the right tickets, you'll have to sit in the berm area, which is just paved dirt with a little bit of grass. No bleachers or chairs are provided. The food and drinks are very expensive. Although, the garlic fries are worth it. If you sit in the bleachers, you might end up getting hit with a baseball. The girl who was sitting a few spots away from us ended up getting hit hard in the face. She was injured, but none of the staff cared to give her medical attention. The actual game was fun to watch, but the Volcanoes lost. The firework display was very nice, though. I think I would recommend this location.
