Jason is honest and knows what he's doing. I'm impressed with the work he did on my old Jaguar. High quality, fair prices, and nice guy running the place. Can't ask for more than that. I have used Salem Exhaust over the years for several projects. Jason and his crew have been courteous and helpful. Labor costs and materials have been more than fair. Recently while getting some tube bent Jason said he has invested in a new refrigerant recovery system for R134A. It is still the standard on vehicles more than a few years old and Jason is ready to help with your AC needs. I highly recommend Salem Exhaust & Automotive.Services: Exhaust

Jason and his crew are some of the best mechanics I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They previously swapped the engine on my Subaru Forester, and have recently replaced the CV Joints. The work was fast, affordable, and professional. I will gladly go out of my way to have Salem Exhaust work on my car for things I am not capable of doing.

One of the earlier reviews posted "restored my faith in humanity" and I couldn't agree more. Jason is direct, thorough, professional, educational, without any BS. These attributes are rare in car repair. The dealership diagnosed a problem with my car and wanted $3100 to repair. I brought it to Jason, he explained the issue with my vehicle is a symptom of another problem. He took his time to determine cause, completed small repairs, test drove the car between repairs to detect improvement and finally replaced the clogged catalytic converter at 1/3 the cost of what the dealership quoted. Plus, my car is repaired in one day. Hallelujah!Finally, know this --> the man is BUSY with customers going in/out as well as training a new office clerk today. He was patient, calm, cool, and collected, while maintaining a sense of humor and urgency. He simply personified excellence. Where do we see this in the car service industry or anywhere? My great experience with Salem Exhaust started when Brooke, the office manager, made sure they could do the job I needed so I wouldn't waste a trip. Then she was very helpful at working around my schedule to get me in. My small utility trailer had (I thought) a broken weld on the ramp's hinge. It turned out it also had a rusted-frozen hinge. Jason and Adrian removed the ramp, broke the hinge free with heat and an air hammer, wire-brushed the rust off the hinge pin and out of the hinge body, re-mounted the ramp and welded the hinge properly. They also greased the hinge to prevent a repeat of the problem. The cost was very reasonable and all of them were very friendly and helpful. Salem Exhaust is my choice for all future work.

Jason and his crew were amazing got the job done quickly my car drives so much better and they didn't overcharge me ) was less than quoted).. watched the customer before me also get treated with the same quality customer service and care found my mechanics here .. will tell all my friends super happy be hard now to get me to go to anywhere else !!! They simply restored my faith in humanity. At least for a little while. They really made my day. We’re in the process of selling our house and it has been a terrible experience. Messy work on upgrades and people generally trying to take advantage of us. So when I took our old Outback to have a crack in the resonator repaired...I just can’t adequately explain how friendly, fast and so far beyond fair they were towards me. I mean, the price was so beyond fair I’m not even sure that I should say how fair it actually was. They just made my day. Go to them first!Service: Exhaust

The passenger tailpipe on my mustang was rubbing on my passenger tire, therefore I needed to get it slightly modified to clear it. Went in without an appointment and the lady at the front end whom was very kind squeezed me in their schedule. Jason and his team are very experienced and they got me in an out within an hour. I'm sure they do fantastic work, I wouldn't know because I never got that far. Apparently you better bring the part with you because these guys don't keep anything in stock or know how to order.
