Was absolutely beautiful. Was a bit taken by the keeper of the place but he was very full of historical knowledge. My sisters wedding was amazing and the lodge was truly a beautiful place. The views are unbeatable and they even have an eagles nest on-site that kept us busy looking at nature's amazing creatures. Highly recommend and aim to be back this year.

Such a cool place to spend a couple days at, no cell service & no television. I loved it there, very fun atmosphere.

Visited while camping in the State Park, maybe we were just really hungry but this place makes the best Ramen I’ve ever had. Have done a bit of traveling, if you like Ramen this place is a must! Incredible atmosphere all around. Basically sits on a small delta of the incoming river. Wildlife everywhere. Top of the

I'm only reviewing the restaurant. We were there on an early Saturday morning. Not a lot of people and service was great. I had the special which was a peaches and cream French toast. It was AMAZING!!! it was made with homemade sweet bread and so delicious. It came with eggs and bacon which I wasn't even expecting. My husband ordered the pancakes and eggs with sausage and everything was delicious. The coffee was also good.

Front desk staff, especially, was very unprofessional. When checking out, “Thanks a bunch.” what is the best he could manage. Seem very distracted at all times. Other hotel staff seemed like they were just spending their time and not very happy with what they were doing.

Enjoyed seeing the lodge after the updating. Their 100th year celebration this year. We enjoyed sitting out back on the deck watching a doe with her twin fawns. They had live music one night while we were there. Calico Bones a local sister duo. We sat out on the lawn and enjoyed their music.

Wonderful place to visit. Rustic lodge, good food, and tasty cocktails. Enjoy a little live music on the deck and watch for deer and bald eagles. Lobby is a nice place to chill. Didn’t stay so can’t comment on the rooms. Never disappointed here or in Joseph.

We didn’t stay in the lodge but we did enjoy breakfast there one morning and dinner too. Service was great- friendly, engaging, and fast for breakfast and similar to dinner (it was pretty busy for dinner so everything took a little longer). We enjoyed the breakfast special of banana French toast. For dinner we enjoyed wagyu beef (delicious!), the wild game plate, and the halibut. The only thing that was not too notch was the very small portion Size of the halibut. The honey hoe cakes, one of the offered sides, were interesting and tasty.
