This hotel is located in a beautiful natural area where one might see plenty of wildlife. The cabins are comfortable and quaint. The WiFi did not work at all from our cabin. When we called the reception desk to inquire about it, they replied something like "maybe because it's too far..." I get it. However, if the service includes WiFi (as it's advertised and password provided), then it should be reliable. Otherwise, it feels like false advertising. Very frustrating.

We had reservations for our 15th anniversary last night. I went to check out the restaurant because a local told me that this restaurant is amazing. We walked in and the guy at the front desk was disengaged and not friendly. I made reservations anyways. 4 days later, my husband and I walked in and NO ONE was at the bar nor did the guy at the front desk ask us if we needed anything. We waited 15 minutes at the bar with no service or admission of us even being there. We left. We went to Slacks on Joseph and dropped $150. Oh! Did we both to get a call about our missed reservation? Nope. It’s like they didn’t want us there or made enough money this summer to care. Note: we come here every year for 2 weeks.

My wife and I had a fun 3 nights at Wallowa Lake Lodge. Location is perfect! Only thing would be AC in the upstairs rooms :), maybe a smile from staff, but the that is the ONLY recommendation.

The Lodgepole cabin was a fun place to stay, if a bit rustic. The maintenance and bar staff in the lodge were friendly and helpful but front desk staff in general acted like any questions or requests were a burden on them. Highlights were exploring the wetlands, creeks and waterfront, spotting deer and eagles, taking the tram to Mt Howard, and just soaking up nature.

Love this Lodge. The rooms are very rustic. The location is amazing. Right at the head waters leading to the lake.
Rooms: The rooms could use some TLC. The beds are not the nost comfortable and lots of dust bunnies live under the furniture. No A/C. No TV, I loved being diconnected from technology.
Nearby activities: So many wonderful things close by. The Tram to the top of the mountain is a must. Horseback riding. Go cart track. Mini golf, hiking, boat rentals and art gallery

Lovely lakeside 100 year old lodge with very nice dining room menu... try the wild game dinner, but share with someone as the portions are very generous

The staff at this place is awesome and friendly, especially Bob from maintenance. When our car broke down and we were stressed, he stepped in and helped us fix it. Bob is a great guy!

Rooms: The cabins were completely as a cabin should be! Comfortable, a tiny bit rustic, and nicely equipped.
Nearby activities: Joseph and Enterprise had adorable shops and were great for walking and window shopping.
Safety: I felt 100% safe. Lots of lighted areas, friendly staff, and great area.

We had a delightful time in our little Firs cabin overlooking Wallowa Lake. Our cabin was cozy - not too big, not too small; just right for two people. With a lovely fireplace, firewood, and a good heating system, we stayed toasty warm even with frosty/snowy weather. We arrived pre-season so the lodge was not open; we enjoyed the peace and tranquility, while watching deer browsing and bald eagles soaring.
