Really appreciated the flexibility and willingness of Rose to recreate a drink that I had had elsewhere and loved. She was amazing and so were Tyler and Amanda. Super friendly environment and a nice chill place. Will definitely be back.

Great addition to county, love the atmosphere and the little plates are tons of fun and very tasty. Highly recommend giving it a try.

Best roast beef sandwich. Even the pickle was the best ever. And I never eat the side pickles. Clean, fast and friendly service. Delicious western burger too! We'll be back for sure.

We stopped in at the Flying Pig for a mid-Friday lunch. Please note that this is a self-proclaimed "small plates" type of eatery. Started with a beer and a cocktail called the "French Pig" and ordered the Pig Wings and Onion Chips. The French Pig is a bit on the sweet side for our liking. The pig wings were braised then finished with a tasty sweet and peppery sauce. The order came with just two wings (three would have been better for $17) but, they were delicious. The onion chips were perfectly battered, crunchy, and tasty but not greasy.Service was great (although we were pretty much the only party there) and the décor was a tasteful pig motif. All in all it was a very pleasant experience, I would recommend a few more pork related items on the menu (pork rinds for example?). We will return.

Food portions at breakfast are tiny. Waffle and overcooked bacon bits and pieces came out cold. No refills on coffee $3.00 a cup is absurd.

If you’re going to charge $12 for a Shirley Temple or ginger beer with lime mocktail, at least have the gall to include prices on the menu. The large cocktail menu had no prices, and to charge the same for a Manhattan and a Shirley Temple is asinine. The owner had no reasonable response order than to say that the price would be the same in Paris(?) We won’t be back and I can’t recommend this place, the food was mediocre and ambiance was unremarkable and very loud inside. Our family has had a place in Joseph for over 50 years and it seemed like the owner was counting on customers being tourists and not looking for repeat customers.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and owner! Great, unique cocktails and menu options. Comfortable seating areas for chatting with old friends and new. What a wonderful addition to downtown Joseph!

Wonderful smaller restaurant on the S end of town, but cozy restaurant inside w some outside tables. Farm to table beef burgers from the owners farm, great Salmon Tempura, perfect onion slice tempura (as good as in Japan) and wonderful Caprese salads. Inside classic bar imported from Chicago more than 100 years ago. Great personal service. Favorite after three other restaurants in under restaurants in Enterprise and Joseph. A total under the radar gem just opened dec 22.

We are visiting from Phoenix, AZ and had a great experience here. The live music (Calico Bones - sisters with amazing voices!) was wonderful. The drink menu was extensive. The food menu was small, but we split a caesar salad (plenty enough to share) and we both had the Western Burger and it was delicious. Not too big, not too small. Our waitress was witty and fun. We will definitely be back!

Please check this place out! The architecture and rich history alone is enough reason to visit. The building should be dubbed as a historic landmark and mentioned by the folks at the visitor’s center to everyone who passes through. I hope they get all the information typed out on some kind of pamphlet or on the back of a menu for all to read in the near future. Don’t pass up the pork belly bites with habanero dipping sauce! Sooooo good! Had a couple of Kentucky Mules and others in my party had vodka tonics and gin and tonics. All were tastefully made! Thanks for entertaining us all and for the book of info about the building ? Absolutely loved it! Can’t wait to drop back by again soon for more pork belly bites ?

The space is beautiful but decorated pretty poorly, which is a shame. It's odd given the name that there's a complete lack of pork products on the menu...

Amazing building and history! We had onion rings with house made fry sauce and mind blowing pork belly bites that came with habanero dipping sauce. Apparently, there's a rotating menu so the pork belly bites may not be there for long. Both were incredible I would go back for the pork belly bites in a heart beat. In fact, I may return tomorrow for them. Had a couple of cocktails with family. Don't expect draft beer in this establishment and honestly I don't think it's necessary. Absolutely no complaints. Everything was top notch including the service. The early 1900's one of a kind bar in this building was apparently built and shipped from Chicago. Stepping inside of this place to check out the bar is enough reason alone to visit. The tasty food and quality drinks are an added bonus! Don't miss this historic gem downtown!
