From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and the warm welcome from the owners, Don and Pam.The kennel itself was spotless, which immediately put my mind at ease about leaving my 3 rascals there. The indoor and outdoor areas were well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with everything a dog could need for a comfortable stay. It was clear that cleanliness and hygiene were top priorities, which is essential when caring for multiple dogs.Don and Pam were absolute gems. They greeted us with genuine warmth and took the time to get to know each of my dogs individually. Their love for animals was evident in every interaction, and it was reassuring to see how much they cared about the well-being of all the pets in their care. They were also incredibly accommodating to any special requests or instructions I had for my dogs' care.What impressed me the most was how Don and Pam handled my three German Shepherds. These dogs can be quite energetic and sometimes challenging, but the owners handled them with ease and kindness. They provided exercise, playtime, and attention, ensuring that my dogs were happy and content throughout their stay.In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend this dog kennel to any pet owner. The Dog Spot
19 S Main St, JosephAmazing food. Apparently, the menu changes as do open times, depending on when the owner feels like cooking, lol. Lucked out when they were and boy, was the food amazing. Dog friendly and inside is an high-end product dog store along with the cafe. Random gifts too- I bought some Chaga purses.
They love dogs.

204 N Main St, JosephThe food is really good but the portions were small. The service was pretty good. I would have preferred our waitress to check in a few more times. The atmosphere can feel crowded at times, but I love the lighting and feel of the place. I recommend it for a date night or a great place to take a friend.

The Flying Pig Bar
18 S Main St, JosephPlease do not be so inconsiderate as to park your truck and horse trailer on the side street next to The Flying Pig. That's a perpendicular parking zone. You're taking up half a dozen spots in doing so. One block away and there's plenty of room to parallel park your rig with less than a minute's walk to get back to Main Street. I'm not even a regular customer of The Flying Pig but I'm irked at people who are that thoughtless. Kudos to the owner for sticking up for her business and her appreciative patrons hoping for a parking spot. She works hard.
