The Indian Lodge Motel is conveniently located on Main Street in Joesph OR. It's easy to walk to bars, the hardware store, grocery store or coffee shop. Our rooms were clean and the beds comfy. The bathroom was OK. There is absolutely no counter space so my shaving kit rested on the toilet tank lid. Nobody needed to tell me to put the seat down. ? AC worked well. Towels were fine. A box of tissue does not seem to be too much to expect but there were none to be found. Would I stay there again? Sure.

We had a great 2 night stay at the motel. The office personnel was very accommodating and explained all the differences in the king bed guest rooms. It was very clean and recently updated. A nice separate space for luggage and coffee, and refrigerator. It was located on the last block of town, so we strolled into town for our meals, visits to art galleries, and the small market. Set in gorgeous Joseph, I highly recommend the motel for hospitality, updated rooms, and location.

The remodeled job was tastefully done but will not stay there again. Motel was not manned and had to call to get a room. Waited 15 minutes. People seemed aggatited with having to come down to give us a room. FYI....Pillows are as hard as rocks, bring your own if you stay there. Bar area with coffee pot should lower. Its way too high. Bathroom shower is very small. Cost was 168.00 per night and was not even tourist season yet.

We booked a Deluxe King as a newly remodeled room with “a coffee bar, our own private roasted coffee”, and other attractive amenities. We found only a small coffee pot, no coffee, and other missing basic amenities (lotion, conditioner, etc). Instead we found coffee certificates for a general store which didn’t open until 10:00 am (we get up early), which left us searching the streets for coffee. NOT what was sold or delivered.

Seriously the most friendly and accommodating staff I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. When my gf couldn't join me at a friends wedding in Joseph, the owners helped to accommodate a friend with a super comfy roll away bed in my King size bed room. SUPER APPRECIATED. Also the only person we needed to talk to regarding where to go for everything in Joseph. If I ever go back, I will FOR SURE stay at the Indian Lodge! The rumor is they may be opening a brewery soon as well! Thanks again Indian Lodge and best of luck!

We stayed in the end unit with a king and twin. We have a toddler, so it was perfect for us. The room is small but adequate, and very clean and nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the vanity area that’s separate from the bathroom. The location is great, within walking distance of all of the downtown restaurants and shops.

I loved staying at this motel. I met the new Owners Alicia and her husband while checking in. From the looks of things they have done a great job modernizing the motel without losing any of the quaint, welcoming touches that make the rooms feel like home. One of my favorite things about the Indian Lodge Motel is its location. Not only is the area very safe and quiet, but it is also centrally located for the city of Joseph, OR. There are dozens of great places to eat and shop within walking distance or just a few minutes drive. The lakes are also located nearby so along with a good nights sleep I was able to go check out the wildlife. My room had a small refrigerator and microwave. I look forward to staying here again next time in Joseph! THANK YOU!!!

I was traveling on business and found myself at the Indian Lodge Motel and I am so thankful I did. The motel, under new management, is a perfect blend of a homey feeling in a modern world. Plenty of safe parking, a welcoming room and management that takes care of even the smallest details.Probably my two favorite things about the Indian Lodge Motel are the location and the location. Located in the heart of Joseph, OR., the immediate surrounding area offers plenty of great places to eat and shop within walking distance or just a short drive down the street. The other selling point with the location is surrounding the town of Joseph are the natural attractions that offer visitors the perfect place to hunt, fish and hike.Whether you are just passing through or there for several days to take in all the great things the town and the surrounding area has to offer, the Indian Lodge Motel is the only place I'll ever want to stay when in Joseph, OR. Trust me. You'll thank me later.

Got rained out of our campsite and needed a place to stay on the Fourth of July. I booked online, which was super easy. Then I called the next morning to see when we could get in, and they got us in early! On top of that, they gave me suggestions for avoiding 4th of July traffic, in order to get our 3 year old back to the hotel for bedtime. I could not believe how sweet both of the women were that I talked to, and how helpful they were! I can't say I have ever had that kind of genuine service at a hotel before. Lastly.... They may have the best water pressure I have ever experienced! Such a welcome surprise after a week of camping!

I've stayed in the past, but unforeseen circumstances required our family to cancel the 1 night accommodation. I called to cancel 4 days in advance, I was told it was a 7 day not 3 day cancelation policy...Our money doesn't grow on trees! I will no longer stay there!

Called to book a room for the weekend for my family members - two adults and two small children. I was told that the occupancy limit of the room was 3, and that we could not reserve a room - even though the kids are very young and they will easily fit in the king size bed. Debbie (who should have NEVER been hired to work in customer service) told me to hold while she ran it across 'the owner.' She gets back on the phone call and says "Yeah, so Becky says no, we can't have 4 people." Okay, fine. I tell Debbie that I can have the older child stay in with me, and that I still want to go ahead and book the room for my MIL and SIL and her 2 year old. Debbie proceeds to tell me, very condescendingly, "Ummm, actually Becky says to not even do it because she already knows that you won't care and will have the other kid sleep here anyway." EXCUSE ME? Who the hell do these women think they are talking to me like that? What kind of business can you keep talking to customers like that? For the record, we had NO intentions of violating their occupancy rules and I fully intended to have my nephew stay with us during that time. I confront her with this - and she says to me "Hmm, well I guess we can reserve the room but just so you know the owner sleeps on site and will be checking for that kid and when she finds out it's there she WILL kick you out. You'll pay full price now and there will be absolutely no cancellations" I tell this woman that I am appalled at her speaking to me this way AND SHE HANGS UP THE PHONE ON ME. My SIL then calls to straighten things out, and she HANGS UP ON HER TOO. The manner in which these two old women run their business is disgusting, and by reading other reviews, I'm not the only one who they have treated like trash. At the end of the day, I'm glad that we are not spending our money at this run-down trash hole. These women need to take a lesson in respect and customer service, and I will tell everyone who I can to stay far far away from them.

We enjoy staying in well kept motels in smaller towns and this one certainly fits that description! The rooms are extremely clean and have been updated nicely. The location is great making it easily walkable into everything in town. Becky, the owner, was also very gracious in meeting some special needs we had. I would definitely recommend this motel if you are considering staying in Joseph.

Indian Lodge owner Scott is very friendly and helpful of the local attractions. Room was very clean. Short walk to shops and restaurants. We will stay again, just not soon enough. The views from the lodge are spectacular and there is a sitting area with tables to take in the view.
