i have used this clinic since Dr. Don and Dr. Anne took over the practic. They were awesome in the beginning. I enjoyed taking my pets to them because I knew that they were taking good care of them. As of today, I am no longer taking any animals to them. I have a dietetic cat that relies on daily insulin. I called to order more insulin and was greeted with such arrogant and disrespectfulness by John. Dr. Anne refused to give me more insulin because I hadn't had the time to bring my cat in for a glucose test. I was told that the only way I would get anymore insulin was to make appointment. Dr. Anne is holding the insulin hostage. I tried to explain that I have been working crazy hours and just didn't have the time to bring her in but was told that I'm not taking care of my cat like a responsible pet owner. Diabetic cats are not easy to take care of and I feel that I'm doing the best that I can. If you love your pet, please stay away from this place. Dr. Anne is arrogant and very disrespectfu!

They have kind and detailed staff. They follow rules for COVID restrictions. Pay right after the visit and before going home.

We have taken our dogs here for decades, but will never take any pet there again after today. 1 of our dogs got into a fight with a nutria last night and suffers a sever gash upon his face. I called out there this morning to take him in and they said we had not been there in 4 years and they were booked for the present time and could not treat him. I found that to be beyond comprehension. A veterinarian that did not have the time to examine or treat a wounded animal just because we had not taken any pet to them in 4 years. I guess the last 20 years don't matter, consistent money over time is better then the welfare of your pet in an emergency.

They did emergency surgery to remove a treble hook on my dog 4 yrs ago while we were visiting family here in Oregon. We have since moved here and need a local vet. but were told, "NO!!! They weren't taking new patients!!" Guy that answered was NOT very polite and then he hung up on me after telling me he was BUSY!! If you're looking, don't bother with this office!

I have been going to Countryside for 15 yrs and have recommended them to several people. I drive an hour to get there and the value and care r totally worth it. The first vet I've ever gone to that trys NOT to have to do surgery. Its a family business and I feel like I'm one of them.
