Dr white has been my PCP for about 20 years. This is my opinion on the care I have received. He has always shown that he cares about how I am feeling. He considers my voice in my plan of treatment. He is Professional , kind and knowledgeable. When needed I have been referred to Specialists......The Office Staff always tries to accomodate me for appointments. They are also kind and courteous. What we sometimes tend to forget is how busy a clinic can get. Times are changing. Insurance Companies, Pharmacists, and the paper work to accomplish patients needs can be overwhelming. The staff have to comply for the patients sake. Yes, the office is run by a new company. They also have new rules to follow. This is frustrating for the Physicians and staff and patients.. ....I have also seen their Physician Assistants. They have all been good. I like their medical assistants too......Dr whites personality has suited me just fine over the years. Sometimes I have waited in the waiting room, a long time to get in to see him. But I assure you they are taking care of their patients and not playing cards and drinking coffee. He did leave me once or twice to run out to deliver a baby. ( the nerve) :) I had to reschedule and everything. I guess life happens sometimes...... Dr White will never likely read this but he is and always will be in my book, " The Good Doctor". And he has taken great care of me these past 20 years.. I want to put it out there in the Universe. My whole self thanks you Dr White.!!...... We hold our Physicians to a higher standard. Just remember they are human too. We need to be good patients. And be patient. I always bring a book. :)

First, I have no complaint about Dr. White or any of the medical staff. In fact, the office staff of long standing have always been cordial and helpful. I've been a satisfied client since 2004.But I have noticed a marked change since the new, corporate owners have entered the picture. I have either been pestered to death with appointment reminders (really, two phone calls and two texts!) or messed up with poor communication between the office and my pharmacy (make that two months in a row in the last few months). When I called today to check on what tests I might need before my annual physical in five days as well as the lengthy questionnaire I have always received, the person on the phone didn't seem to know what I was talking about. I rescheduled my appointment for two months from now (!), and she asked what tests I wanted. Huh?

Better when they were not part of a medical machine.

I don't normally write reviews, especially negative ones, about doctors but OMG. I went to see Dr. White the other day as a work in appointment. My normal doctor is in the same clinic and I've had nothing but good experiences with her. But I went in for wheezing and an infection. During the exam he said my lungs were clear and that I had strained my chest wall (whatever) and sent me home saying I was fine. He also prescribed an antibiotic for the infection. Now, two days later, the wheezing is much worse although intermittent; Chest wall strain my butt. Also I did research about the antibiotic he prescribed and all (ALL) my research said that you should NOT use this antibiotic to treat the infection that I have. I now have to go through a long round of unnessesary antibiotics. I'm actually furious.

I can't even make an appointment because every time I call (4 times in the last 2 hours) it sends me straight to an answering machine telling me to try later. Waste of time.

Monmouth/Independence has like a 5 mile radius. I like convenience just as much as the next person, but when you live in a Nanotropolis community like Monmouth/Independence getting off your bed(side) to make the 5 minute or less drive to the Doctors is hardly whine worthy. If this practice of requiring people to come in keeps the people who complain about all the inconveniences away from the office, then I know that when I go to their office I'm not going to be surrounded by a bunch of grumpy self entitled impatient patients - which makes my visit all the more pleasant.

They can always get my children or myself in at last minute. Every medical professional that I have seen here has always been patient and I never felt rushed out the door.

You can't even set up an appointment to see a doctor unless you go in, fill out paperwork, and have insurance verified. THEN you can set up an appointment for a later date. Goodbye bedside manner...hello profit driven practice.
