194 S Main St, IndependenceAsh Creek has always been amazing for my family. Recently, my cat, Rhea, got her vaccines. She was acting very distant, very non-social, and was in pain. We realized her breathing was very rapid the day after her vaccines. I called around 4:10 pm to see if we could get advice, but they recommend us coming in. I came in shortly after, and Rhea had a 105.2 fever (106 is when organs start to fail for cats), so they gave her a shot to counteract her symptoms and an IV. A few hours later, she is completely normal and playing and being Rhea again. I am so grateful to have them around. Probably would have maybe had to take Rhea in for a Emergency Vet appointment or a died kitty ?. They've also done great with my parents' dog, Ryeka. She had a tumor(cancerous) on her nose. My parents have done research where dogs had the same tumor in the same place (and the Vets also said) that when she comes out of surgery, she may not look the same ever again. Luckily, the tumor wasn't so big, but they did an amazing job, and she looks completely the same! I honestly love this vet. They care for animals and take very good care of them. I've always been happy with them. They've taken care of my animals very well as well as my parents animals. I totally recommend this place

Good deal in today's economy for a fill-up. I think all 3 of us ate and got stuffed for $38. Obviously no regrets. But one of the best parts... FREE ICE CREAM ? DESERT WITH THE MEAL!!!!

Id prefer less sweet and sour sauce in the box when you order it to go, but it seems like theres always a relatively equal mix of fully sauced chicken pieces and some only about half. So you can elect to drown your chicken in more of the delicious sauce or eat a half doused ones as is. The chow mein is perfect. Pork fried rice is a great addition that lets you enjoy rice with some appreciated flavor. I originally didnt like the crab puffs but they grew on me quickly.
Ive seen some complain that the outside needs more cleaning or that the environment needs some adjustment. I think the concerns of the outside are fair enough, but Ive never felt the place was unclean. If anything, I take small town restaurants with dated exteriors but fine interiors as a sign of the truly good stuff. And my experience with Jade terrace has basically just been that: the good stuff.
I am currently full to the brim with a special #2 after thinking about it all day and not eating much. You know what Im not full of? Regret. The special #2 filled me up so much, I have no room for it. Great place for Chinese food.
