Awesome staff and I love that this location is less busy than Salem. It definitely needs some A/C or more air flow though. Also, it would be awesome if the front window was frosted and/or if there was a reserved parking space for Y members as there is rarely any parking during afternoon/evening hours.

Pretty decent prices. Would be nice if they frosted the windows because if you come too early you get watched by people in line for the food bank. Not their fault tho they gotta get food somehow. Sometimes on days where there is no food bank line, creepy old men watch you, which isn't very nice. The staff is cool, though. Our ride was late one night and I believe it was a staff member who sat in her car and waited for us to get picked up so we didn't get nabbed. That was nice of her because it was late.

EDIT; Just not for us after a month in. Not the Y I remember ?When all 3 kids were begging for a gym membership my mind went straight here, to the YMCA. As a kid, this is where I went to work out, volunteered, swam, went to camp...Living in WA my whole childhood, the YMCA was a big part of it.Sooooo, I paid for the membership immediately not even looking at the site. I was excited. This was the biggest let down of all time. 1 VERY SMALL weight room, 1 room with a wood floor for the classes they offer with a couple bikes. It's in an old dilapidated plaza and looks as runned down as it could look. The 2 young ladies I came into contact with were sweet, accommodating and kind. The kids & I worked out comfortably for about a half hour at which time a handful of men came in to work out. The room is small and my daughter and I just did not feel comfortable any longer so we left. It's a far cry from what I remember when I was a kid but it's affordable and we can all go. I was told once you sign on to one YMCA then you're able to visit all of them. I was stunned and heartbroken at the news that this is not true. I'm not sure how long we're going to have the membership but beggars can't be choosers, right?

Covid has made these employees insane. They don't realize it is not part of their job description to enforce mask mandates. And shame on anyone in charge to enforce such tyrannical rules.

I was told by the woman who dents up the teams that they wanted to limit soccer to ten kids and she didn’t like that she had to make two teams already. Lots more kids and families are missing out because she wants to keep her job simple not fair. Find a new person to run the Y that gives all the kids a chance to play that want to in the community
