The manager Sam is friendly and knowledgeable, the grounds are always well-maintained, and the facility is surrounded by a fence and secured main gate. The prices are great and there are lots of different units and RV spaces. Great place to store your stuff!

Great customer service, make sure to consistently check in and call me to make sure I still wanted my auction unit and was even patient and willing enough to stay 15 or 20 minutes after the gate was to lock.

Ever since I moved up here to Independence, I have needed a storage unit. I called around and ultimately came back to Independence mini storage. What got me was the customer service specifically from Sam. Very kind, courteous and understanding. This company is very solid and secure. I know my belongings are in good hands here and for a very reasonable price.

This has been a really stressful time for everyone. I've been helping my friend move her things into this storage facility and Sam gave us the best customer service I think I've ever gotten. He was so patient while we had to maneuver new territory of all online and over the phone transactions, has a great sense of humor and really helped us with the process- since neither my friend or I have ever gotten a storage container before. Sam truly and honestly made this process so easy and really made it so much less stressful. The facility itself is clean and safe, the storage containers are well maintained and the area is monitored by a lot of cameras which really puts me at ease to make sure my friends things are being watched. Sam did a great job of informing us of the insurance policy, with the lock and everything inbetween making sure we really understood and had the best knowledge going into this. I live almost 2 hours away and my friend who purchased the storage container lives over 13 hours away but both of us feel genuinely safe leaving her personal belongings here.
