This was the best bow shop I've ever been to. The staff was very polite, helpful and very experienced. They really have an attention for details when tuning bows. Highly recommended.

Even though I’ve lived in the area since 2010 I have never gone in the archery store. I grew up hunting as a youth in Michigan, but never got back into it in Oregon. After a recent life altering injury I felt called to go back to my Michigan roots. So, I wanted some information on archery(range) bows for getting up to practice. Bob(family owner) took all the time to explain all the advantages of the various options and advantages/disadvantages. We went over countless options and we settled on a perfect bow. He never made me feel dumb, answers all my questions throughly, and we had a lot of laughs. In the end, he custom picked out a bow tailored to me/my needs, was so helpful, and even let me shoot a few down the range. His enthusiasm and energy is contagious. I will never go anywhere in The Gorge for bow needs ever again. I’m a customer for life! Not only that they have been in business for 41 years in Hood River. Please support our local shops, and get off Amazon. You may pay a little more, but you have unlimited access to the wealth of knowledge that Bob spent a lifetime gathering. One of the best experiences in a retail store in as long as I can remember!

i totally recommend this place! the gentleman showed my s/o and i the basics. after stating we had no knowledge at all about archery. he spent upwards of about an hour and a half explaining everything to us and showing us different types of bows and arrows .how to aim and draw properly. the whole experience was fantastic. and we walked away with a new hobby… thanks again for taking the time to explain everything to us.

Went in right as they opened. The owner was friendly and sold at a decent price. He let me use the indoor range and gave some helpful pointers on form that really helped my aim! Highly recommend.

Best customer service I’ve ever had in regards to any sport/shop/store EVER. Bob is literally the BEST. First time ever even holding a bow, let alone buying one. He’s a very busy person this time year but when things let up he literally spent hours with me, teaching me everything there is to know for a beginner. He closes at 5 and could’ve easily just sent me out the door with what I needed and left it at that, but he stayed there to teach me how to shoot & get me totally dialed until 8. Mind you, we were totally strangers hours ago! Amazing human being, extremely knowledgeable & experienced with this craft. I drove almost 2 hours for the specific bow I wanted, & now I’ll do it any day of the week for this kind of customer service. Honestly blown away by what someone would do for a total stranger! God bless
