Pretty annoying when I go to return an item and they say the customer service desk closes early, but the rest of the store is still open. Don't trust the hours.

Selection was poor and it was hard to find things. The checkout lady was really nice though and checkout went great.

I must be accustomed to Supercenter Walmarts because this one just fell flat. The store is incredibly cramped and their selection is very small. Shopping here was both underwhelming and overwhelming, and not in a good way. Shelves weren’t stocked well, or with a variety of goods. The aisles are tight and the shelves are stacked very high. The workers aren’t particularly friendly either, although one did notice I was looking for a place to put my basket on my way out the door and she took it from me, which I appreciated.
I used self-checkout and the older gentleman working didn’t say a word to me, but gestured towards and open lane; he was wearing his sunglasses inside and sitting propped against the check stand, very odd.
I will do everything in my power to avoid returning to this grocery store while I’m in Hood River.

This is not a superstore. It has a limited selection of groceries and no fresh produce. Looks like it used to be a regular Walmart and then they added a few groceries in the middle.

The worst walmart I've ever been in. Super messy and claustrophobic. You can only fit one person down any of the main aisle ways so you're constantly stuck walking behind super slow old folks and tripping on boxes of merchandise left on floor. If there was a fire in this store everyone would die trying to get out of the very poorly designed exit that's two feet wide and has a continuous mess of shopping karts blocking the only way out. I can't believe the local fire Marshall hasn't shut this place down.

The smallest Walmart I've been to. Very small/low inventory, I rarely find any clothes or footwear that's my size. Check out here is pretty sloooooowwwww. I usually just use the self check out because it's quicker. They did closed the self check out for a month or so sometimes ago and that was really aggravating. Not the best Walmart but it's all we got in the area.

Was SHAD fishing downriver from the Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River. The day was awesome & warm, got sunburned a bit, caught a Small Mouth Bass, lots of people catching SHAD. BY the north side power house, there were maybe 100 fisher persons enjoying the event.
