I've been a repeat customer customer for many years. There is always something lust worthy every time I visit whether it's for me or as a gift. The customer service has always been excellent just like the selection. If you want unique pieces that define your style without being pretentious then Chemistry is the perfect place to shop, Hood River is very fortunate to have such a nice jewelry store in town.

The jewelry is gorgeous, so we stopped in to check it out. Saw some pieces I wanted to purchase, but then... a customer walked in asking for a specific type of jewelry and one of the people working there voiced a series of assumptions: about the person's partner's gender, about what a "lady" would like (suggesting the piece they had in mind might be "too masculine" for her)... we chose to continue on to patronize other shops where people aren't engaging customers with heteronormative, binary gender biased comments. Aesthetic tastes are not specific to gender, you can't guess gender by looking at someone and please stop assuming people's partner's genders.

This jewelry store is the best! Every piece they have is beautiful and well made. The staff we met are all adorable and excited to make your Hood River experience a great one. A mandatory stop if you are in the gorge!

With a vast selection of artisan jewelry, this is one store you must visit while in Hood River! They showcase both local and national artists, pieces in various metals and gemstones, and best of all, there are lots of pieces in all price ranges! Never have I left this store empty handed!There is so much to look at, to take in, so just take your time making your way around the cases in the perimeter and the center. Then take a second lap! So many necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, jewelry adorned with gem stones, gold, silver, bronze - they have it all. The customer service is exceptional. They provide whatever level of assistance you seek and they also let you browse at your own pace, if that is your preference. Many items can be customized whether it's size, stone or if you want help designing a piece. Yesterday I fell in love with a station necklace, evenly paced stones and seed pearls in various Autumnal colors. As soon as I put it on, I knew I wasn't taking it off! The price point of $60 meant I didn't even have to think about it. There was a also a pair of long, curved silver earrings that I loved. At $245 I'm going to think about them and see if I can't let go of the idea of owning them. LOL. Fortunately, their jewelry is available online so if I decide to buy them for myself for Christmas, I can do so without leaving my home. During COVID they are using all precautionary measures. Hand sanitizer required and provided when you enter, wearing your mask. They are limiting the number of customers and using hands free check out, sanitizing between customers.

Chemistry Jewelry is such a beautiful place ran by beautiful people inside and out they carry handmade pieces of art to adorn your body with and feel your best! I am particularly fond of the stone/gem work that is offered here! Perfect place to get a loved one a special gift for a birthday, anniversary or just because!
