The Vive Salon is a wonderful business. Everyone is friendly and all of the nail techs do excellent work.
Cleanliness: Very thorough in this regard. Each foot bowl is lined with its own plastic bag for that client - then that’s removed after the feet are done soaking. Safe and clean for each person.

We have gone there twice so far . We bring my mom as she doesn’t get out of the house much. We love our manicures and pedicures . We enjoy our time together there . They offer drinks ( alcoholic and non -alcoholic ) they are all sweet and do a wonderful job!

Please read this before you go -
I’ve been going to this place for a few months now. It was really good at the beginning but I’ve had horrible experiences over the last couple months.
1. Gel pedicures - They were ok before. There is barely any massage no matter the package. But my toes started itching a lot after the last few pedicures. They would continue itching for a week after pedicure. Not sure if the cremes they use changed or something else. I’ve never had issues before and I’ve been doing gel pedicures all my life.
There was a time when they made me wait for an hour despite a few of their employees being available.
2. Waxing - Last time the lady waxed off a chunk of my eyebrow and said ‘not guilty’. She said my left eyebrow was always half in size. ? That’s pretty bad - not owning your mistake.
The last time I went for a full leg wax, it got the worst. The lady was new and clearly did not care about her job or her clients. She left all of my hair as is and when I pointed it out she said that I was being ‘picky’ and that none was going to see how many hair were on my legs. She said she couldn’t see my hair since my skin was black. She said I needed to hurry up and go because another client was waiting for the room. She also said that she will decline providing me any service in the future because she has the right to do so. All this because I asked her to wax the remainder hair/do her job. She managed to be obnoxious, rude, and racist to her client at the same time.
3. Facial - There was barely any massage and my skin did not feel different. The facial therapist is not full time so you need to take an appointment.
Really really disappointed and would never visit again.

Not my usual place, went there since. I was in town. TRASH! I had dip all over my hands, they are lumpy and awful looking. she filed my nails so short. She was filing my skin, my fingers hurt! I tried to have someone fix them, the. They still charged me half price! I am in their parking lot in tears. Pink dip all over my fingers!

Requested style: I needed TLC for my feet. She’s a keeper.
Specialties: Their spa manicure is awesome. The deluxe version includes hot wax along with warm oil foot and hand massages.
Cleanliness: The salon is lovely and cleanliness is at the top of their ideals when serving clients.
Stylist: Heidi is a delightful stylist. So friendly and very solicitous that my needs were met.
Her skills are top level. I look forward to continuing our client/stylist relationship. I give her an A+

I went there for my dip manicure and waxing. The girl who did my manicure (guess her name was Susie) was very rude. Throughout the service, she behaved as if she was doing me a favor. She didn’t talk to me even once but kept showing my hands to her coworker and laughed at me. While all the other clients were offered drinks by the salon employees, she did not offer me any drink or water (even though I purchased services over $110). She rushed through the manicure, bled my fingers, did not even remove the polish stains on the tips of my fingers. Very poor service. Jenny did my waxing and was very thorough. I tipped Jenny generously but did not tip Suzie for her poor service.
My 2 cents to the salon - You should train your employees to treat all customers with respect. I was the only brown woman in the salon today and everyone else around me was offered a drink. This made me realize that you discriminated me based on my skin color. It’s a shame that a salon run by Asian women discriminated a brown woman. I am severely disappointed and guess what, you just lost a permanent customer.
Stylist: Suzie (She made me feel disrespected and discriminated. Thanks to her, I won’t return)

First time coming here and Tiffany did my pedicure and I loved it! She took care of me, salon was clean and busy so that’s a great sign. I’ll be back for sure!

Requested style: We asked for a pedicure and she washed it so quick without a massage and they were being so rude and they told me if I don’t like it to get out.

The pedicures were acceptable, nothing horrible and nothing exceptional. I was not very impressed with the massage chairs, lol. We were able to get in on a Sunday with only a days notice, which was great.
Cleanliness: My daughter and I had pedicures, and the techs who did them literally shared the nail file between us. Not sure they are supposed to be shared?

I moved and had to find a new nail tech, having previously had a private studio nail tech. It had been a long time since I went to a nail salon.
I got incredibly lucky and found Tiffany at Vive. I keep long, extra sharp stiletto nails and I like nail art, extreme colours, and loud nails. She has delivered excellent craftsmanship in everything from tip to top coat. She is also kind and it's clear that she cares about her clients.
I highly recommend Tiffany for your unique nail needs.
