Friendly reminder: You are buying a literal air mattress for several grand. It’s a foam topper with air mattresses stuffed in each side. Embarrassing. Instead of handing them your money, buy a better bed for an eighth of the price elsewhere and give me the rest of your money. This company deserves nothing.Response to Comment: lol. automated responses just further proves my point. 8-9k for a bed to have the worst sleep of your life? Naw, I’m here to help others.

We worked directly with the manager who has been with the company for 15 years. He was wonderful! We came to him through a product referral and he quickly assessed what we needed based on what we knew (not much). He was welcoming and down to earth. I think we’ll be staying with our new mattress for years to come!

I've had my bed for about 2 years and I'm just now getting used to it. The folks who talked with me on the phone were nice, but the beds are overpriced and don't come with a thick soft topper layer in the twin. I think it's two inches, but the pressure points on my hips, knees, and shoulders are awful. The topper layer that is there is inadequate for joint pain. Lowering the sleep number setting just makes it sag in the middle. I think it might leak, but I'm not sure. Also, the app doesn't work well. You have to manually shut it off every day or your pets set off the sleep tracking. If I lay down to use my phone or watch TV, it records a second sleep session. A Fitbit records more accurate sleep data.I'll get up to go the bathroom two or three times a night and it will often not register those at all. It might register one. Maybe you've got to be out of the bed for a time minimum? I don't know.Feature requests: Thickest topper on twin, just like the other models and a time scheduler in the app to block windows of time that you or your pets are on the bed during the day but not sleeping. I am forgetful and cannot stay on top of manually turning things on and off all the time.

Checked their website, I knew what I wanted. Salesman showed us four beds. We picked one and bought it.

After years of searching for the right bed we finally made the decision to invest in a sleep number as our sleep needs are so different. What a great experience at the Hillsboro store. John was fantastic going over all the features of the different beds. We had done some initial research so we had of an idea of what we wanted. This was one of the best buying experiences we have had. We look forward to our bed being delivered and gaining some much needed rest. Thank you to the team at Hillsboro and specifically John. The only thing I was upset about is why we waited so long and suffered through multiple expensive mattress purchases over the years, we should have just bought a sleep number.

We have bought 5 sleep# beds over the last 20+ years. The one thing that ALWAYS fails is the air fill port connection. They crack, the o-rings break & they eventually leak. When you have an air bladder bed, the last thing you need/want is for it to leak. It doesn't hold air, you might as well sleep on a rock. Like the air fill port connection, there is also a disconnect between the store you buy your bed from & customer service. As we found out, the store is no help when these issues arise. You are sent to "customer service" & you have to buy a whole new bladder $400+ that we figure at some point will also fail. If 5 out of 5 air fill port connectors failed on us, I can imagine others have this same problem. The air fill port connection design is bad & needs to be redesigned to not fail.

My wife and I visited this sleep number location this afternoon on a search for a guest queen bed. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by Tysley, a sales associate. We briefly explained our needs and our budget, and we were off. Tysley took about 10 minutes explaining the basics of the sleep number system, followed by her walking us through the different setups. We started with the P5 which was connected to a system that was able to generate images of your pressure points. Once our pressure points were established, Tysley took us through several different sleep number settings and demonstrated how differently those pressure points were affected as the sleep numbers changed. We very much appreciated the lack of pressure to buy and were very pleased with the price points they had available. Tysley made it an extremely pleasant experience. Thank you!

Much too expensive for what you get!You buy a super expensive, "fancy" mattress with height adjustable base but don't even get a simple remote to control any of it! You're supposed to boot up your phone in the middle of the night and blind yourself to use their app and destroy your sleep if you want to make an adjustment. The remote is "optional", just as expensive as the bed and unavailable because of whatever excuses. Also, the mattress supposedly adapts to temperature and should cool us down if we get too hot but is not doing any of that! We sweat just as much as on a cheap mattress. The mattress has air pumps that tend to run every now and then while we sleep during the night and then wakes us up. They could be quieter. Not worth the bags of gold coins that we spent on this mattress/base combo!(I typed this review after more than 6 months using this bed and will update as time passes by if I feel I should)

The Sleep Number salesperson in Hillsboro Oregon deceived us on the 100 day try at home policy. As they explained it to us and confirmed back to us, there was no risk to the purchase and we had 100 days to try the bed out. After we had purchased it and we're unhappy we tried to start a return and their corporate office said we signed paperwork claiming only the mattress could be returned and only for a one time exchange for another mattress. There was no "risk-free whatsoever". Now we no longer have our original bed which we liked better and we spent over $5,000 on one that we don't want. This company is misleading and a sham. After reviewing it thoroughly the way they're policies are written up or contradictive to each other. But it's too late for me, as we went off the verbal description of the sales person. I'll be looking into a class action suit as I've seen other reports online of the same thing.
