Pharmacy | Kaiser Permanente Westside Medical Center is a great place to pick up all your prescriptions and medicines that you need. It's located right by the gift shop and the little cafe that they have inside. Overall lines were moving quite fast, and the pharmacists we're working hard, so people could get in and out faster.

Google's hours are wrong. Kaiser should update this like any other business can. They DO NOT open at 7 on weekdays. I had to wait an hour because of this and was late to work.

They decided to go against their posted hours and decided to close at 5 instead of 530 because they didnt feel like staying until close. Completely unprofessional and very rude. What a way to treat your patients.

They seem to just take really good care of their patients when they're there

This is the blood draw result . After 3 days is still healing . This is the first time I have experienced this and I believe that the nurses who performed the procedure were unprofessional. They seemed to be in a hurry to finish for the day, constantly reminding each other that they only had 20 minutes left to go.

Great care, friendly staff. Although there was sometimes a wait for someone to respond, I understand everywhere is experiencing understaffing so I didn't consider it a problem. Good food too.

This is the worst hospital I have ever worked at. Not functioning at normal levels, stretched too thin. Wish I were exaggerating: Call outs, staff quitting, half RN travelers, if they even show up, inadequate CNAs...RNs working as CNAs to bridge gaps, always inadequate and poorly staffed, no 3rd floor manager in place, interim managers and heartless manager, who hide in their offices or attend useless meetings while Rome is burning. Lack of teamwork, low morale, burnout, bullying, lateral violence, being treated like a number. Lousy pay, no bonus, weak raises! Our wimpy Union has no backbone. The recent Safe Staffing picket was fruitless. Nothing changed, nothing improved. Kaiser is a mirage, it really has nothing to offer. Awful place to work. I hate my job! Look elsewhere!!! Save yourself from Medsurg hell.

Dr gave me a medicine but don’t have the medicine in Kaiser pharmacy. They said you can take the medicine other pharmacies. I went rite aid. The staff of the rite aid said need to call Kaiser to us. I called the Kaiser pharmacy for transfer to rite aid. Kaiser pharmacy said need to call rite aid to us. I couldn’t take the medicine that I need to get. I don’t understand this issue. Finally I need to the medicine but I couldn’t get it.

We had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with the emergency room at Kaiser Permanente and social worker Cindy Beeks. Two weeks ago, my 74-year-old wife took too many painkillers to stop the acute pain of her recent hip placement surgery. I called 911 to make sure that she would be O.K. and an ambulance took her to Kaiser Permanente Westside Medical Clinic in Hillsboro. While still under the influence of the drugs - nodding off and unable to complete a sentence - a mental health worker (Cindy Beeks) came into the room and tried to interview my wife. Cindy repeatedly came in the room to speak with my wife who still found it difficult to focus her because of the drugs. Though my wife still answered in one-word sentences (or not at all) due to the painkillers, the mental health worker asked if she could bring a colleague to speak with my wife, wheeled in a large video screen, and in a few moments a psychiatrist appeared. After a very brief interaction between my wife and the psychiatric, Cindy marched into the room with a piece of paper and read my wife her rights - that she could be INVOLUNTARILY hospitalized for five days in a mental institution. We were stunned, but Cindy did indicate that she would return the next day and things could change if we had a safety plan. After Cindy left, my wife and I developed a safety plan, and I left the hospital and expected to return the next morning. But in the middle of the night, guards woke my wife, took her to a car with bars on the windows, confiscated her cell phone, and forcibly took her to a FOR-PROFIT mental institution, Unity Center for Behavioral Health, and forced her to sit in a recliner with a group of other people despite her recent hip surgery. From our perspective, this was a NIGHTMARE. DON'T EVER go to the emergency room at Kaiser Westside Medical Clinic!!!!!! THE MENTAL HEALTH TEAM MISLED AND TOTALLY MISINFORMED US!!!!!

You never get the doctor you choose. They have a time limit on appointments. Their mental health is ineffective.

Sister is with Kaiser, went into the emergency room in an ambulance, unable to even sit up, but even though she felt like she couldn't even sit up, because of a very bad nasal infection, and also getting over Covid,This was on a Monday and they weren't even slightly busy, in fact, I was there five hours, and I only saw three patients in the emergency room. The entire time was almost deserted because they were so slow.,Being a self insured caretaker, it's all about the bottom line, and they said they would take her to a bus stop via wheelchair to get home instead of just keeping her for a night or two for observation?Rude nurses and stressed out over worked doctors,She requested a patient advocate and the nurse responded I am your patient advocate!I have a feeling they had no clue what she was talking about?
