Forgot my phone in the bathroom here and the people here are so great that luckily someone turned my phone in and I was able to get it back! Amazing food as well!

Yesterday was my 2nd visit to M & M. I was in Oaxaca last winter for a month, so I decided to try Panderia Oaxaquena. I ordered the memalita with chicken for $9.75. It was delicious. Loads of shredded seasoned chicken, no funky parts. Also they included Oaxacan string cheese, onions, and more all on a masa hand pressed tortilla, which are thicker that regular corn tortillas. Green or red sauce was available. Spice level was moderate. There is a common seating area next to the stall which was clean(I got there just after opening, Friday at 4 PM.). The entire mercado is in an old warehouse and going there is just like visiting a mercado in Oaxaca. The only difference is the vendors here speak English, while in Oaxaca very few do. Lots of fun to wander around and see all the various stalls selling a variety of items. There is also a performance stage so it looks like there is live music at times. Visitors should check opening times as there is limited hours here.

Excellent place to visit to look at Mexican arts and crafts. On Saturdays, they have multicultural events from 4:00 till 7:00 PM
