if you buy one of their tape measures they will not take it back if it breaks like Home Depot will. Also I bought a broom and they said that I bought it over 90 days which I did not so they wouldn't take it back. I will not be back to Lowe's for anything I don't care if it was free. That place needs to go

It's not every place where you genuinely feel the staff actively seek out to help you and make you feel like they wanted to make sure you got all the things you need. HA instantly asked if there was anything he could do to help me. He found a large cart so I didn't have to look for one, he walked me to the item I was looking for, led me out and made sure I was taken care of at check out. Customer service 10/10 from HA! what a great way to start my busy Saturday morning.

Visited this store yesterday and had a tremendous experience with regards to an employee's exemplary customer service. I just ran into her and she greeted me with a smile and asked if there's anything she could help me with and I informed her if she could point me to where I could find roof nails and she led me to which aisle these could be found and when she could not find it where she told me where they could be at she searched and searched until she earnestly told me where specifically they could be stocked. Her name is Marygrace and my experience was so pleasant and I thought of giving her kudos as I got back home and not just telling her manager. Excellent and very efficient employee. The store is lucky to have her. Much credit to you, Marygrace!!

Had a great experience with Derek ordering cabinets for a remodel. We THOUGHT We knew what we were doing and exactly what we needed. Wrong..... there's WAY more to it than you think. Derek was exceptionally helpful and I was so impressed by his knowledge especially of the little details and parts needed. If you need cabinets, go see Derek and he will take excellent care of you.

Poor Customer Service at this location. This man was trying to help me and I don't blame him at all. He paged several times for someone who could give me information about getting a garage door opener I was purchasing there installed. There were no responses. After 15 minutes, I called and located another company that could install it. The poor customer service here hasn't improved in the last 2 years, which is why I usually drive the extra miles to the Tigard Lowe's. I suggest they do a complete overhaul of their system. It is long overdue.

This is the Hillsboro location. My frig died, I ordered new one on 11/1. It was the only specific frig I could find anywhere that would fit in my cabinet. Was told delivery would be 11/17. Fine, in time for Thanksgiving. Then they notified me oops, it would be November 25; you know, the day *after* Thanksgiving. I contact customer service, the only reason for two stars being because the person who helped me did all they could. Unfortunately after spending a lot of time they discovered they could not do *anything,* wound up with the "problem with the supply chain" excuse so common these days. I wound up doing Thanksgiving at someone else's house. And now today, got notice it won't get here until 11/30. So I have been a month without a refrigerator (using a borrowed mini-frig.) I can't really cancel, since as stated it's the only one that'll fit. But I'm not holding my breath. I won't shop here again.

I went in today looking for a specific door handle but it's only online at Lowes. Which is fine, good to know. I am a little bummed I purchased all my interior knobs at Home Depot already because Lowes really has a better selection and more modern style which is what I'm doing with my home. We found the Pella Storm door we wanted online at Lowes and ordered it, couldn't find the storm door knob in store but ordered it online and will definitely check Lowes out when looking for things because they have a lot more modern style and black which is what I am doing a lot of.Customer service was great when I asked questions.

Can use some work.... On customer service/notating accounts. Ordered a refrigerator online. Order#879058433 it was a 3 week wait to be delivered. So I decided to rent a trailer and pickup at the closest location which was Hillsboro. I called in advance to setup pickup, had a confirmation email stating it was ready. I showed up, it took about 30 min to have someone find it and bring it up front. The employees struggled a little, due to short staffing. The help at the counter was sub par at best. After the experience I didn't even want to call them back about the small ding in the front however I did. I reached a female that gave me a couple options, send someone out to swap or a small discount of 20%. Which I figured is the max due to they offer 20% off when you sign up for the credit card. I spoke to my other half, out of convenience and her willingness to deal with the small dent I said I'll take the 20%. This was 11/17/2021 which was pickup day of the fridge. The employee said the total would be $1,144.76 I said great that works. She stated would be approx 5-7 days for refund. Which is pretty standard and I've returned a few things over the years. Today is 11/28 I called to asked about it, they said it was absurd discount and scheduled to now send someone to swap the fridge....Now this is the holidays, we have it full of food and everything now in working order..... want to come and swap and not honor the discount. I said sure he took my name and said have a great day " I hope they call you." Per Collin. He also stated that he talked to the highest person he could, being as they currently don't have a store Manager. Overall I've never had a bad experience until now.Feeling comfortable and safe in our own home is all we have right now with all the craziness going on. Now that it's been two weeks we have to swap it!Re: Approx 10 min after posting this review. I have now received a refund. This is unfortunate due to the unwillingness to just do this prior to review.

Ugh... it's annoying to shop here but trying limit what I purchase on Amazon or at home depot. The main disadvantage I've found is that the prices at Lowe's aren't as good as at those retailers, and I constantly pay differently (more) than what's marked or listed online. And this place is farther out from my house, so never worth the hassle to go back for price adjustments when it's just a few dollars. Note for future self: prob best to plan ahead, shop lowes.com, and either ship to home or go in for in-store pick-up and minimize the the hassle.
