Better prices here than at home depot for most items. They have a better selection of flooring options here, but their vanity options were lacking. Good thing home depot is right next door so you can shop at both. The employees seem to know where everything is if you get a chance to ask them.

I recently bought a Craftsman Tool Cabinet. I shop at home improvement stores often, haven't had occasion to shop at Lowe's since moving to this area. Mike, the sales associate who helped me, really went out of his way to provide great concierge-type customer service. He was very knowledgeable, helped me secure a discount for a slightly scratched display unit, facilitated getting another part of the unit from the back storage area, then provided a personal handoff to the checkout clerk and getting help to load the cabinet in my car. All of the staff clearly showed interest in making my experience positive. It really left me with great feeling about your store. Thanks! Mike E., Cornelius, OR

if you buy one of their tape measures they will not take it back if it breaks like Home Depot will. Also I bought a broom and they said that I bought it over 90 days which I did not so they wouldn't take it back. I will not be back to Lowe's for anything I don't care if it was free. That place needs to go

It's not every place where you genuinely feel the staff actively seek out to help you and make you feel like they wanted to make sure you got all the things you need. HA instantly asked if there was anything he could do to help me. He found a large cart so I didn't have to look for one, he walked me to the item I was looking for, led me out and made sure I was taken care of at check out. Customer service 10/10 from HA! what a great way to start my busy Saturday morning.

Visited this store yesterday and had a tremendous experience with regards to an employee's exemplary customer service. I just ran into her and she greeted me with a smile and asked if there's anything she could help me with and I informed her if she could point me to where I could find roof nails and she led me to which aisle these could be found and when she could not find it where she told me where they could be at she searched and searched until she earnestly told me where specifically they could be stocked. Her name is Marygrace and my experience was so pleasant and I thought of giving her kudos as I got back home and not just telling her manager. Excellent and very efficient employee. The store is lucky to have her. Much credit to you, Marygrace!!

So as per usual with Lowe's, you never see an associate while shopping inside the store. The style of your products is nicer then Home Depot, I.e. style, finishes, design; but I know I'm basically going to a 100,000 square foot self service kiosk. So, we spend 30 minutes or more looking at patio sets without ever seeing an employee. We pick one out, but there is no one in that area. So I take a picture of the item numbers figuring I'll go up to the check stands and get some help and get it taken care of. To my surprise, you guys are the only big box store that fails to have at least one traditional check stand open with the u-scan kiosks. So, I don't see the associate, so I enter the item numbers and check myself out, which is really where we should save the 5% as you aren't paying a wage or benefits to the machine or me, and pay. At this point, the associate has appeared and I say I need you guys to get the two boxes for the patio furniture down so I can load it in my car. He attempts to call the 1 associate you have staffing that department. But he's already loading bricks. So while we are waiting, the assistant manager, Alexis, comes out and asks if she can help us. We start to explain the situation, and she gives us a semi disgusted look, and starts to explain how we did it wrong, and how we should have done it better. Keep in mind, until I finished checking out, I have had zero interaction with any of your employees. This obviously upset my wife and one of my daughters as it was fairly passive aggressive, and she was basically telling us the basics of shopping. As this was the first time we have been in the store when you had zero traditional check stands open, I would imagine this will be the last time we shop at Lowe's.

Had a great experience with Derek ordering cabinets for a remodel. We THOUGHT We knew what we were doing and exactly what we needed. Wrong..... there's WAY more to it than you think. Derek was exceptionally helpful and I was so impressed by his knowledge especially of the little details and parts needed. If you need cabinets, go see Derek and he will take excellent care of you.

I bought a dishwasher here a few weeks ago. The two gentleman that helped me were great! They were helpful but not pushy and gave me my space until I was ready. The company who delivered and installed it called me a couple of days later, like I was told they would, and let me know the date they would be there. It was a couple of weeks out because they, as most businesses these days, are busy and I'm guessing short staffed. The company called the night before and told me the time frame, text me the day of to let me know they were on their way, and the guys had it installed in less than an hour! Super respectful and friendly guys who did the install! I was very pleased with the entire experience!

This is the Hillsboro location. My frig died, I ordered new one on 11/1. It was the only specific frig I could find anywhere that would fit in my cabinet. Was told delivery would be 11/17. Fine, in time for Thanksgiving. Then they notified me oops, it would be November 25; you know, the day *after* Thanksgiving. I contact customer service, the only reason for two stars being because the person who helped me did all they could. Unfortunately after spending a lot of time they discovered they could not do *anything,* wound up with the "problem with the supply chain" excuse so common these days. I wound up doing Thanksgiving at someone else's house. And now today, got notice it won't get here until 11/30. So I have been a month without a refrigerator (using a borrowed mini-frig.) I can't really cancel, since as stated it's the only one that'll fit. But I'm not holding my breath. I won't shop here again.

Do not purchase appliances and expect them to deliver and install Like they say will happen. I have been getting the run around for 3 week. Started with Rory the salesperson not filling order and installation out correctly. ....to today with them delivering and refusing to remove old one and install new one. Horrible service. Inconsistent excuses. Rude Customer service staff, no accountability.

This review is for Kayla the manager. I think that's her name. She was tall and had dirty blonde hair in a bun. She helped us yesterday after just 6 o'clock. We got a bbq in a box that had the wrong pieces and wanted to return it so we were able to for one out front. Anyways, she was so nice, friendly and helpful. Other workers made us feel like we were being a burden but she didn't! I wish all the people who worked there were like her! Thank you Kayla

The "Curbside pickup" system is fatally flawed. Tried this multiple times and each time something went wrong. The last straw was waiting over 30 minutes in the designated Curbside Pickup spot while I watch others get their orders before me that arrived way later than I. I finally had to get out of my car and get it myself. Kind of defeats the purpose of "Curbside" pickup. Next time I'll just go in-store to pick up my purchase, at Ace Hardware.

I can't rate my purchases because I wasn't able to make them. After an hour of shopping and picking out a cart of miscellaneous things on my list including 4 plants from the clearance rack I lined up to checkout and pay. A new associate was being trained and she was doing fine except she was asking me about everything in my cart 'what's this? What are you going to do with this?' Seriously none of your business! She and her trainer were chit chatting about their break and blah blah blah- oh we need a manager for an override on the plants. She calls once, twice and no show. I wait and wait and when I asked what the holdup was I get flap and a snarl from the 'experienced' cashier. Finally a manager-type person shows up and... the register freezes and they have to re boot and start my checkout again (a big cart full of little misc items ) I'm pretty mad and they are not making me feel better and responding with nasty comments and excuses. The manager takes me to the customer service register and proceeded to empty my cart all over the floor in the aisle and ring things up one by one. Literally people were walking around my pile of things. I wasn't even going to help because this 'manager' was so inept. So now my purchases are all over the floor, and he is starting at the register trying to figure out how to mark down the plants, I wait and wait. No comment no acknowledgment why he can't do it. Another associate approaches him and starts talking to him about employees breaks and whatever- I'm pissed now and ask her not to talk to him while he is working on my order because it is taking sooooo long (we are at 30+ minutes now) she gives me a look from hell and more flap!! Unbelievable! I wait more and finally after NO explanation why it's taking so long to check me out I leave WITHOUT my item!! If you are interested in crappy service where they will give you push back and make nasty comments to your face, mis-marked merchandise, and inept customer training this is your place. Come to Lowes and waste your time! I'll NEVER go back!
