My MIL and I stopped in for a trim. Hers was uneven, but a quick fix made her happy. Mine was 3 inches longer on one side, layers on one side and straight on the other. When I mentioned it, the stylist said, "which side do you think is longer?" Um, the side that is clearly much longer?
I had her trim more on the long side but after a bit I just said that's fine so I could go. I was afraid she'd mess it up to the point where I couldn't get it fixed easily.
I'm not picky about my hair, and I've never been unhappy with a haircut before now. When I went elsewhere to get it fixed they were pretty shocked how bad it was. I had to cut much more off than I'd intended to make it not look embarrassing.

You can explain the cut you want and they will ignore it and give you something else that looks goofy.

I should never have trusted a great clips, but my other place was getting too expensive so i took the risk. Not a mistake i will ever be making again!
Came to freshen up for a job interview, left with a scraped up neck and the worst haircut I've ever recieved... My stylist was very kind and everything was going great up until she got to the back. Absolutely atrocious neck line and it's so high up on my head.... she was going so fast that it was squared off within seconds, no time for me to stop it. Then she kept going over my neck skin with the clippers and pressing so hard that it's a little raw now.
You truely get what you pay for. I'm not too pressed, it will grow back, and the interviewers understood when I explained why i was wearing a beanie. But I wanted to post this as a warning to everyone else. Spend the extra and go to Bishops or another higher quality place - you deserve better than this! Stay safe out there yall ??

I put 4 stars because there was a lot of people waiting and Pong, the one that took care of me, was only there by her self. She was a great stylist and made my hair look AMAZING! I would recommend asking for her she knows what she’s doing!

I haven't had a bad experience here yet. It has been my go to for years and they consistently get just what I want! Staff are friendly and attentive, and will ask you questions if they're not sure what you want :)

We had previous experiences with this location that were great, so wel felt confident bringing our son there for a haircut today. We were wrong.Our son has been growing his hair out and wants it to go to mid back, but his bangs grow fast, so my husband took him in for a bang trim and facial framing. The lady who did my son's hair kept asking my husband if he was sure, and that his hair should be trimmed to grow better. My husband was persuaded. The lady lobbed off his length, which was past his shoulders at this point, to just below his head. I think this was to get more money than a bang trim.That wasn't the worst thing. His hair looked like a bowl cut (picture a page boy, medieval squire look), and it was uneven in many places. It looked horrible.We had to go to Perfect Look salon, and thankfully the woman there was so kind and only charged $5 to fix it, but she was appalled.By the time we got it fixed it was too late to call in to complain but I will be doing so tomorrow.

They won't take appointments over the phone. It is a blatant stab at data mining. They want to spam you and sell your information. You can still walk in but are relegated to second class customer and have to wait. Horrible customer service plan.

Tanasbourne Great Clips by far is the best Great Clips place!!! All my family get our haircuts at this Tanasbourne Great Clips and we always look and request for “Pong and Elle”, both of them are awesome, very nice & friendly and the most important they always got the haircut right no matter for kids-men-women! Thank you Pong & Elle ?
