The school and the teachers were amazing for the most part! Our kid loved attending and definitely developed good social skills. However, I have one point of feedback. The school entices you to register for the following year and asks for a non-refundable deposit, which they won't return even in exceptional circumstances, such as leaving the city. They claim this is to save you a seat, but for the afternoon times that we registered, there were still available places. It seems like the management is just trying to keep as much money as possible. Minor setback to what has been a great year overall.

Our family LOVES ELM!! It was the best decision to take my daughter here for pre-school. She learned so much over 2 years, and she loved coming to school everyday day!

Amazing preschool/kindergarten! My son loves and thrives at ELM all of the teachers and director is supportive and caring towards my child I wouldn’t have him attend anywhere else !! Would definitely recommend to any one my son learns new things everyday we are very happy with his development thank you ELM!

As a parent of three kids, and having to go through 5 preschools, I can say this is by far our best school!

My daughter has had the best experience at ELM. She started in the Laurel room with Ms. Linsey and worked her way up to the Sequoia room(Kinder) with Ms. Kim. She has grown so much over the years. She has become more independent and confident as well. With the student teacher ratio being so low, she has learned significantly at school. She will be entering the first grade well prepared. All of the teachers are great. They are very kind, patient and loving. The environment at elm is fun and inspiring. My child loves going to school everyday. She always talks about how much she loves her teachers and friends. ELM is by far the best preschool/Kinder in Hillsboro!

I am so grateful for this wonderful school. The teachers let the kids learn at their own pace. They allow time for play, music and art, STEM, and expose them to so many different things that are really necessary for practical life!

My wife and I toured a dozen places before sending our son to ELM three years ago. Now our daughter is attending and I have been 100% satisfied with everything about the program, week after week, year after year.

My daughter completes almost a year at ELM and we as parents couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll her. I was sold the very second the director of the school told us that they are not in the business of making great kindergarteners or first graders but responsible empathetic confident individuals - we are glad that the school truly practices what it preaches. Our daughter not only learns through doing and observing the seven habits of leaders but is always talking about them to friends and family. She looks forward to going to school everyday and comes back with something new literally every day! Cannot recommend the school enough!

The facility is very clean, welcoming, and conducive to learning. The school size is not too big and not too small; it's just right. The staff is really nice and communicate well with the parents. My child loves it!!!

Our son is a bright boy for his age, but we felt he was lacking some of the much needed social skills as a child of a stay at home parent. We are so blessed and happy to have found ELM! The teachers are amazing, they allow the kids to guide themselves through activities with as little adult structure as possible, all while maintaining a clean and safe environment. They are helping to teach the kids some important fundamental skills through the 7 habits of highly effective people in a simple way for children to understand. I would recommend this school to anyone and everyone!

My 4 year old and I love The Early Learning Matters. It's a great childhood of play and discovery mixed with discipline, love, respect and education! We love this program . My daughter gets so excited to learn the monthly themes and she loves the preschool crafts and activities. Teachers really care about the children - academic, social and emotional.The program is very organized, easy to follow, very educational and a lot of fun. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for anyone looking to leave their child in Good Hands !

We enjoy that the focus is in providing an overall growing experience for our child. She has improved with her communication and interesting to see how she talks about good manners and habits discussed in her class. She enjoys going to ELM :)
