Summary: A hairstylist should know what they are capable of and what they are not capable of. And if there is any chance of misunderstanding, there needs to be more proactive communication. I came in to bleach my grown-out roots. I am aware I have dark hair, and it was also a point of concern for me as well going in, because this was my first time at this salon and I didn't know what to expect. At first I was leaning toward a full foil instead of a full bleach, but I was told that my grow-outs didn't have as much of a straight line boundary as I had thought. So I opted for the full bleach. This is where miscommunication #1 happened. If the hairstylist felt that another option was more appropriate, they should have communicated that clearly. I was never given any recommendation by the stylist for a full foil over a full bleach. I wasn't even particular about having one option over another, so there should have been more pushback from a professional standpoint. It's more likely that the stylist was unsure of her own capabilities for either option. Then, the end result came out. I am aware that I have dark hair, so I didn't expect my roots to lighten up to the same tone of the rest of my hair in one go, but I was NOT expecting the little bits of dark hair remaining in the boundary between my old bleached hair and my newly bleached hair. I pointed that out to the stylist, and she reasoned that I would need another bleach session. This was where miscommunication #2 happened. If a second session is needed, the stylist should have clearly communicated the expectations for the results, or at least have anticipated the client concerns with the incomplete outcome. Nonetheless, there should never have been bits and pieces of dark hair remaining, even if there is an expected difference in color between the newly bleached hair and the old hair. The stylist also did not respond to feedback in the most professional manner. Her responses not only failed to de-escalate tension but also contributed to even more tension with me, although I communicated my points calmly. The only reason this review is not even worse is because the lady at the concierge desk stepped in and made an actual effort to schedule a second session for me within a reasonable window of time.

The owner, the daughter not the mother who evidently lives in Florida, is a horrible person. I have seen and heard this woman yelling at a disabled woman causing her to cry, and then pretending to "apologize " to this lady only to turn and gossip about her when she left and I was still there. This is not the first time I have seen her or heard her gossiping about others and treating them badly when they don't add up to her little perfect group of people. That woman spent a lot off a lot of money at the salon, and I know that because I spend a lot of money in the salon and after seeing what I have seen with this woman and how the other hairdressers won't stick up for the poor other ladies I'm done with this place as well. I hope starlet the mother in Florida, comes back and realize what's happening at this place of business. Of course, you have wonderful things to say when you're not on the crap end of the stick from starlet Junior. You start to realize just how little they really think of you when you hear the gossip about others. This younger Starlette seems to think that her you know what doesn't stink. I, & others have witnessed this on several occasions with several different people who were disabled or unable to afford what we normally going to have our hair done. Or our nails done. Some of these people were taking the very last dime to get there. You're done with her nails and feet done only to be spoken down to and yelled at. We don't need to be treating each other human beings like this we should be treating everyone the same, or at least, helping those who are less fortunate out and having some compassion with them in the very least Is that going to hurt you starlet Junior? Well, I guess it does and I won't be going here as long as she's still working there.

This place is horrible the service sucks and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there A hairdresser Missy is very rude And thinks she knows everything. My hair came out horrific wasn't worth the money I spent!!!! Find a better salon in the area besides this trashy hole

I recently started going to Ultimate Touch I had been going to another salon for quite a while but felt I needed to try something new. I am very happy with my new stylist I finally have a hairstyle I can work with. The esthetician is very informative and is honest about what you should do to help your skin without you having spend money unnecessarily. Everyone you meet at the salon is Happy and Welcoming. I'm very glad I tried this professional salon.
