“One of the last affordable thrift shops in Portland! I needed a last minute Halloween costume, so I stopped in to Deseret, and they had the goods! In fact I saw many spirit halloweeen costumes on their rack still in the package for $10! Thanks again Deseret!”

“I never gave children's stores much attention before the birth of my (ridiculously handsome) baby son, but after he was born, I became intimately acquainted with how expensive kids can be. Fortunately, places like Pinwheels help take the edge off of clothing and entertaining the little guy!Clothing, shoes, accessories, toys, books, games, strollers, swings: it's all here! And it's all a bargain! Lightly used? Just about everything seems about as close to brand new as possible; *I'd* certainly never know the difference. There's even a "diaper depot" (as I like to call it anyway): a drop box where you can donate extra diapers you no longer need, so that others less fortunate can take them for free; a heartwarming touch that immediately endeared me to this place. The owner is a vibrant, wonderful woman who immediately engaged us upon entering, and make the whole experience a true pleasure. And she has an eye for style, quality, and most important in a resale shop: cleanliness! We bought a pair of shoes and a few toys this time around, but I foresee many return visits to Pinwheels, and not just to re-sell the clothes my son outgrows. I'd rather shop here for his needs than any big box store in the Portland area.”

“My wife and I have shopped here in the past, and this week we came in to sell some things on consignment. I always liked this place, but I have a whole new level of appreciation for them now.Haley, Kayla, and Julius were all so helpful and kind. We are new to selling, and they were nothing but generous and supportive. It is clear to me that the heart of this place is in the right place. They are so supportive of local businesses and sellers. In this day and age, it felt like a reminder that good, ethical businesses exist. What's New Furniture deserves your patronage. They are good people who do good for their community.”

“Great curated collection of unique finds. Variety of items from many sports teams. Clean and bright location, very nice employees.Reasons I didn’t give 5 stars: not very clear on website, IG, or elsewhere when you can bring in items and the process. Would like to see more casual wear (hoodies, tees, etc) and not just jerseys. So would appreciate more inclusive items being accepted.”

“I loved browsing in Nancy’s Shop, and really didn’t think that an 83 year old lady would find something. Was I ever mistaken!!! Nancy found two outfits that are perfect for my trip to Maui! Wonderful store for all ages???”

“If I could give this place ten stars I would. Great selection of everything: clothes, bags, cards, candles, oils, incense, home decor, hats, glassware, luggage, etc. Little things for cute gifts, big things that will bring you joy forever. Don't sleep on their INCREDIBLE ring selection of all sizes (fem & masc from size 3 to 13+?). Plus the jewellery there is dangerous! Casual, cool everyday to the kind that has you contemplating a fancy upscale date! ? The 'pièce de résistance' are the owners. Always wonderful, kind, funny conversation. Informative about all the things. She's a real gem ? Welcoming & takes time with everyone who comes through (even after a loooong day/week). And also thoughtful - the makers and products they carry are local and/or ethically sourced. I can't say enough great things. So seriously, make it a stop with a friend or out of town visitor as you stroll Williams Street. Guaranteed a fine time!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐?”

“This shop is wonderfully curated and an excellent resource for anyone who loves stylish and interesting furniture. The owner has savant like knowledge and will answer any questions you might have about care, origins, and design of her wares. I bought a couch three years ago and called to ask about cleaning it the other day- glad I did because my couch is now clean and I didn’t ruin it! I have multiple pieces (art, furniture, and lighting) I’ve bought over the years and every single one is still in use and loved by me. I love this shop!”

“I fell in love instantly with a beautiful dining room table, which they delivered to my house even though I live across the city. I also got some chairs that they did a great job getting re-upholstered with my favorite shade of blue. Everything was done so kindly and carefully and I know I'll be back for some more furniture in the future!”

“Mafe's Mall is one terrific store. Looking for furniture after I moved, I found interlocking teak shelving / bookcases there, which would be perfect for the space I had in mind. I was reluctant to ask staff member Christine and owner Tony to move the items it displayed, because there were many. They were eager to oblige, to enable me to see all the wood on the two pieces, and verify their condition. It was excellent! That sealed the deal. When Tony delivered it, he noticed two matching chairs that were pushed to the side, since they didn't look quite right in my new home. He offered to consign them for me, and took them back to the store on the spot. Within days, he got the price he told me he could get. I've subsequently consigned a few more things and have confidence they will sell too. When I met Mafé and learned about her part in the business, I immediately hired her to do some upholstery work. It is still in progress, but having seen in the store the beautiful, well made work she does, I have complete confidence that it will be exactly right and just as ordered. When folks have stopped by to see my new place, and they see what I found at Mafé Mall, they always ask for contact info. Christine, Tony and Mafé are all a pleasure to work with, so just as I have recommended them to friends and family, I highly recommend Mafé Mall to you as well, with no reservations at all.”

“Zig Zag is a fantastic local second-hand clothing store, a little bit of everything for adults. There are lots of great shirts, jackets, and sweaters. Fun t-shirts to browse through, and the employees are all generally happy. Fun to shop where the employees like what they do.”

“I have been here several times whenever I’m in Portland, and I always leave happily with a purchase or two. There is lots tochose from here and the quality of the items are consistently good. The store is also arranged stylishly to give you some inspiration. My only addition would be to have the friendly staff check in when you are in the dressing room. I know you can’t change sizes given everything is one of a kind, however it’s a nice customer service feature.”

“The layout of the mall is great, and roomy. Some vendors have some really great displays/themed spaces. Pricing can be hit or miss depending on the vendors. The lighting is a bit funky in some places, but that's not the fault of the vendors; the space is an old warehouse. It's really easy to spend well over 2 hrs just browsing around. Highly recommend!Restrooms are available on the 2nd floor. There was a bar upstairs as well, but it didn't looked like it was still a work in progress. Highly recommend!”

“Super adorable little shop in camas. I love coming here, sometimes they have the most interesting items. The last thing I purchased from here was a plastic, riding horse for $50 i think, brand new If you are in the area and dont mind thrifting for kids clothes you gotta stop, parking could be tricky but you'll find some if not youll walk 5 minutes?”

“Raylee is a wonderful consignment shop! I've only ever ordered online, since I'm not local, but shipping is always quick + packaged up so nicely! Great selection of items. “I love this place! Great mix of new and old. I've found some awesome metal horror signs, cute earrings, adorable vintage style stickers and the most random antiques. The gentleman who usually runs the register is very friendly and funny and has some great stories. Ask about the beautiful little silver antique style call bell by the register.”

“If you are a collector, reenactor, participate in living history, or simply enjoy history, this is a great place for purchasing a wide variety of vintage military surplus items (primarily Vietnam-era & prior), as well as firearms & ammunition. This is a very interesting place to visit in terms of the shop itself, but the staff have gone as far as to set up a very detailed museum concerning the different time periods of World War 2, along with original items & equipment. Personally, I believe it's well beyond worth paying a visit to if you are passionate about history. I'd highly recommend this establishment to anyone interested in buying pieces of history and/or simply interested in looking at a menagerie of historically significant items.”
