“Ordered from Wishing Well last year as well as this year for Valentines Day. Local business in Oregon where my mother lives, to deliver locally to my mom. Wishing Well has always delivered the most beautiful arranges and, as advertised and on time! You can tell that they arrange each stem with love and care as if they were going to present it to their own. Thank you Wishing Well.”
“The people who own this store are wonderful and so is there store, so happy to have an option for snacks and drinks, and all sorts of goodies that isn’t 7-Eleven or the sketchy unfriendly shell station down the street”
10AM - 7PM
79 NE Roberts Ave, Gresham“Charlie's is a hoot. Total sleeper. You'd never know the extensive inventory have you just walked by. Incredible selection and friendly staff. An oasis amongst Gresham's awful downtown.”
8AM - 11:30PM
6732 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Portland“Has a bad experience here when I first moved to the neighborhood. I've decided that the staff member probably had some stuff going on that day. My experience has been excellent since. This store rocks check it out. Nobody asked me to change my review it's all me.”
“I must say that the owners here are the real deal. Telina has a great pallet for wine. I have never had a bad bottle in this shop. Great descriptions and stories for each bottle. Feels like a charming art gallery without the pretense. Perfect for wine nerds and also perfect for first time buyers that don’t want to get ripped off and could use some kind advice.”
“I firmly believe this is the best liquor store in a 10 mile radios and refuse to go elsewhere. They have a large store and a massive selection of drinks to choose from. A large selection of drinking accessories and even snacks and soda. The staff are so awesome and knowledgeable. If they aren't busy then definitely stick around for a bit to chat, they are a blast.”
“Greatest spot in SE for the drinks one needs as well as other things of the over 21 years of age needs. Only regret I have is never special ordering an actual unicorn ?. Other than that great staff, great prices and close to home for anyone in South East”
“This is a gem of a wine shop, carefully curated at very reasonable prices. I am glad to live nearby it. Norman is extremely outgoing with his descriptions and generosity of spirit.”
“This is the best wine-shop. Full stop. They've nailed it on every dimension: 1) What an incredible, varied, and dynamic selection of wines available! The shelves are always full, and every time I go I find something new and interesting 2) Their prices are so reasonable! I can reliably expect to grab a ~$15-20 bottle that's still going to be really dang good, but it's also fun to go explore around in their rare and vintage wine room for some truly exceptional bottles! 3) Most importantly, the folks working there are so awesome. The new owners are warm, inviting, and SO knowledgeable! Michael is an endless font of information, and so good at giving an informed recommendation, all while somehow *not* being a wine-snob! He and his sweet family make the shop have such a wonderful neighborhood vibe. What a gem of a shop! Can't wait to go back (soon)”
“I'll go out of my way to stop here rather than State Line Liquor, prices are about the same, but the staff at Rose City is much friendlier and way more knowledgeable.”
“Loved our time at this wine and flower shop! It was perfect for our friend group before our dinner out. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. It was so evident that this is a local spot that the neighbors love to have around. Wish there was one where I live!”
11AM - 5:30PM
137 SE 28th Ave, Portland“I went in. "I want to buy a gift for a newly married friend: a bottle that'll be good in 1 year, a bottle that'll be good in 2 years, and a bottle that'll be good in 5 years." With that inspiration, we were off on a conspiratorial tour of their selection. What we ended up with was raves from my newly married friend.
Friday night tastings are a delight--and a bargain--and I always end up leaving with a bottle or three of discoveries.
I love going to the Friday nights with my friends, and i love having this resource in my neighborhood! Now if I could just stop losing the punch cards....”
“One of the best stores about. Has plenty of hard to find liquor available and always friendly to help you find what you are looking for. Thank you for being do awesome.”
“What wonderful customer service and true hearted owners to suggest I go somewhere else for a broader wine selection because they are just starting their offerings up. I thought that spoke volumes to their business ethics and personal values. I ended up getting the Portland ? Potato vodka and it was all I needed anyway!”
“Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. They make good recommendations and when items are out, they even suggested other stores. The other store was a flop however and we’ll stick to this place.”
“First time here. It's nice and spacious inside; easy to find things. The employees were friendly too. The traffic light makes it nice to get to the store and back out with no hassles.”
10AM - 8PM
2705 NE 238th Dr Suite G, Wood Village“Decent selection of things. It's smaller than some of the other places so there isn't as much variety as you'd find over at the troutdale liquor store but it's close by, they've got pretty much everything I get which is usually some cheap vodka or Whiskey. They sell cigarettes and whatnot here too. You can find a small selection of common beer and some snacks by the checkout. They even have a few options here for sake and last I checked they sell suntori Whiskey which is nice. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's always good to see them”
“Sizable selection of different wine, cider, beer, and other soft drinks but not as big as the main Multnomah location.I still stop by here every couple of months to stock up the fridge and always end up with more than I expect to leave with. ?They also draft beer with rotating taps and a nice selection of food from the adjacent food carts and TVs inside or a nice cosy patio to enjoy a beer or two.”
11AM - 6PM
1515 NE Broadway, Portland“We stopped by to grab a case of random wine never having been in before. I was impressed by the selection and prices. The staff/owner was awesome and very kind to us as well. We will be coming back!”
“The absolute best wine store in PDX. The team is super friendly and helpful no matter your level of wine knowledge. They have something for every price point too!”
“Staff was very friendly and helpful. They store was clean and it smelt wonderful. As soon as you walk in the store you get a positive/happy vibe from them, they are all happy wonderful people. Would drive the extra 1.5 hours to Gresham Liquor store again just to be in the presence of HAPPY PEOPLE!!”
“Had a really good selection of both Bourbon and Scotch. The guy manning the counter was very happy and friendly. I will be happy to come here next time I am looking for my drinks!”
10:30AM - 8PM
3334 NE Killingsworth St, Portland“Ok, so my friend took my debit card to buy some liquor for me, and dropped it inside or outside of this store. When he back-tracked and the clerk (Amber) said that she found it, she wouldn't give it back to him without proper ID, and he felt a little bit butt-hurt over it, because he had to come get me and bring me there with my ID to retrieve the card ... WAY TO GO AMBER!!! ??? I wanted to give her a big tip for being on the ball and requiring proper ID before handing my bank card over to a complete STRANGER, but they don't do cash back, and my buddy was in a hurry, so I didn't think to use their ATM.... SORRY AMBER, ILL BE BACK! AWESOME JOB AMBER, SERIOUSLY!!!! ?????(Oh yeah, I'm expecting a HUGE disability back pay on that account sometime this week, so you saved my butt from getting it replaced, and should see that tip when it hits the bank!)”
“Love this place!! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about wine and has created a fun atmosphere. The cheese plate and burrata are incredible. Highly recommend!”
“Inside the mall, so many cool things in this store, very fair prices. Friendly staff, clean store. Wanted to buy more but needed to fly back home. Haha. Highly recommend, was referred by others, and will return.”
“I recently moved to this neighborhood and went in here for the first time a few weeks ago. I needed a few things I wasn’t familiar with and Sam was awesome about making recommendations! Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you, Sam!”
10AM - 6:30PM
1430 SE 35th Ave, Portland“Despite the modest sized commercial space, this store has a massive and diverse selection of wine. The prices are very reasonable and it’s impossible not to find something good that will fit within your budget. The man in charge was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend this over places like Fred Meyer and encourage everyone to visit!”
“Very nice wine shop with a lot of fun wines. Most are low intervention producers (I don't love the term 'natural'). Prices are fair. The wine bar next door has a $10 corkage for anything selected from the retail side.”
“Had A Great Experience, Great Customer Service And Got To Meet The Owner And Tried His Favorite Tequila, Came Home With 2 Bottles Of It And Other Great Selection Of Tequila For My Needs, Highly Recommend And Will Be Back Soon.”
“Love this place and the staff but damn... 840 pm on a Friday and they're closed already? It's not just them, a bunch of liquor stores in the area are closing super early. Whack.”
