I finally feel comfortable making a review about this after a few friends also had bad experiences. The building is way over crowded they need more room for all the kids. The communication between teachers and parents is severely lacking. They discipline the children by putting them outside on the 'porch' while the rest of the class is inside, sad and horrifying! My son has never had an accident but had a poop accident in his pants here that makes me feel really weird. My son still talks about his teacher being mean to him

I have worked at Happy Valley Preschool for many years and I can attest to what an amazing program it is! The children here are loved so much! We focus on the development of the WHOLE child here! Social emotional,intra-personal, inter-personal, bodily kinesthetic and educational skills! We value the relationships we build between the staff and families, and we nurture them throughout the child's time here with us. I can't imagine working anywhere else it's like family here!

All three of my kids loved it here! Options for indoor and outdoor play, friendly staff, and people willing to work with my children when they went through a big cross-country move, the pandemic and another big cross-country move. I was very thankful to have HV Preschool as part of my parent tribe because raising kids DOES take a village. You will be thrilled to see your kids thrive here!

My daughter is in their preschool program and I love how caring and supportive the teachers are. I know she’ll be ready for Kindergarten this Fall.

Danielle L , happy valley preschool does not, and have never had busses at the school, and does not go field trips unless it’s a walking field trip to the local park. Misinformation about the school... you should probably get correct name of the school before putting a negative report. Teachers at happy valley preschool are caring providers.

I went to OMSI yesterday with my children. After parking, I heard an adult yelling at children getting off of a Happy Valley Preschool bus. After she got them all to the sidewalk, I observed her give a light push to a child's shoulder and snarl at her to "Get on the wall!"The child could not have been more than a foot away from the wall. Seriously not a big deal. While the touch was not abusive, I would never want a teacher to put a hand on my child if it were not strictly necessary to avoid them injuring themselves. The teacher was extremely impatient and should reconsider her career choice. I would never send my children there.

Love the place. to: Danielle L, HVP does not take kids on field trips via the bus. Who you saw wasn't HVP.The staff are always friendly, they love our kids and treat them like their own. We've used HVP for both our kids, the last five years. They look forward to "school" every day at HVP . the Pre school and day program is great, our kids were well prepared for Kindergarten.
