The facility and equipment were clean, the staff was welcoming and the trainer was really friendly and helpful. She gives full planned out workouts which help a lot with the indecisiveness of what to do each day. Working with her has been great and Snap Fitness is one of the best gyms I’ve been to!”

“The perfect gym for my needs. Clean, spacious and with high quality equipment - machines and free weights. I have never once felt like they lack a piece of equipment either. And there is almost never a wait for equipment, particularly outside out of peak early evening hours. Chris is a nice guy and always appreciate his relaxed presence. I haven't taken advantage of the classes but will do so one day soon.”

“Appreciation post: coming to PDX was just supposed to be a vacation. When we think about vacation, we don’t usually associate it with exercise or eating healthy. However, I’ve been trying to incorporate healthy habits not only physically but spiritually and mentally in order to be more productive and become a better human. This is where SCULPTpdx comes in.
I cannot fully put into words what this family owned business has done for me over the last 5 weeks.
I guess I had a head start already feeling like family because I am Vicki’s sister. But it wasn’t only Vicki and Jared who made me feel like family but the coaches and the members.
Here are some thoughts from my last 5 weeks and how I have grown :
Back home I don’t usually train in groups because I lack confidence in my physical abilities but now I feel like I have confidence to train with others even though I may not have all the movements correctly. My trainers Dino, Shay and Sarah worked to help build my confidence levels and help lessen my fear of being judged. They challenged me to push until failure. Even when I thought I couldn’t do anymore they believed I could and brought out the best in me. Their knowledge and experience in this industry is evident because they practice what they preach to the members on a daily basis. They embody true fitness.
On another level, SCULPTpdx doesn’t only build bodies but it incorporates a wholistic approach, they understand that to be physically disciplined you also need to be mentally and spiritually disciplined. They are all intertwined. They care about the members well-being and want them to achieve success. They motivate their members and inspire them to give of their best. Speaking from my own personal experience I have returned home with the most determination to resume my exercise regime, wanting to train daily but most importantly mentally I am determined to succeed. Determine to set my goals and achieve them. I looked to the coaches and the owners as inspiration and that is what they are. Leaders in this industry. There is no other gym that caters to individualistic needs like sculpt where coaches can guide you and help you set attainable goals and have them be realized in within a specific time frame.
They have achieved their mission and vision for their small family sized gym and it is only obvious and necessary that the next step be sculpt 2.0 as they continue to grow to create an environment for more members to achieve their goals. Honestly, this is me being selfish and putting in a shameless plug, I wish I would have been able to continue training even if it was online because the strength and confidence that I feel is just astounding. To have coaches and owners who care about your actual wellbeing is amazing and being valued as a member makes you want to keep striving for excellence as you have this new found passion for it. So I will re iterate I cannot fully put into words the impact that they have made on me but to quote a friend who saw me today when I returned home. She said I was looking ‘fresh’ and full of life again.
Thank you SCULPTpdx fam for taking me in and making me feel like I was one of your own and if you do decide to take clients online I’ll be the first to sign up.

“I had my first class not to long ago I'm 14 I did the kids class it's clear instruction and teaching it's great and then I did the adults class I assumed whoever I would work with would rather be with an adult for better competition and no one would wanna work with me however that wasn't the case I found a partner and he realized I didn't really know what I was doing so he taught me a bunch of stuff I'm gonna keep going here great place to go no rude staff or anything everyone's great”

“My two sons have been attending Ballistic Box for about 8-9 months now. They love it. Coach Jason is phenomenal with the children. The other coaches are awesome too, and the whole place is friendly and inviting. It feels like family! The new facility in Gresham off 183rd and Halsey is top notch and has lots of space.My sons are learning focus and discipline while becoming physically fit. It's so awesome watching them learn "The Sweet Science". One of my children has attention problems and Coach Jason is very patient with him. We have definitely been seeing much improvement.I would recommend this gym. Five stars for sure.”

“Great studio, with lots of room to spread out on the floor and lots of mirrors, if that's your thing. Private bathrooms and showers. The staff is super nice, make sure to take a class with DeShawn. He has great music, helps you with your form, and makes everyone feel included. Rachel is high-energy and always encourages you to go a little harder.”

“I was new to gyms but wanted to get a routine down that helped me get back in shape, work on some specific issues I was having and learn my way around the equipment. I signed up for three months of personal training sessions with Clay after an introductory session and they were a life changer. Clay is knowledgeable, listened to what I needed, pushed me to take the extra step and together we built a plan I can take with me to confidently set my own agenda at the gym and keep myself in shape. The Saturday morning classes were great too. I always felt I got the help and guidance to use the equipment properly and adjust to get the most from my workout and avoid injury. Great atmosphere, welcoming vibe, clean space and no hidden fees. I recommend this gym and the trainers.”

“I had a great time with Heidi in the strength class (but also got my a** kicked) lol. If you want a good full body workout, this is it! You use weights but can still go at your own pace. Do what your body can handle and if you need that extra motivation, it's there! I was intimidated at first but everyone was so nice and welcoming from the front desk, the instructor and the other class members! I had ACL surgery in October and it's been scary getting physical again (especially in public). I will likely continue to go to this class as I really enjoyed it!”

“My son celebrated his 11th birthday here and it was a great experience from scheduling to walking out the door at the end of the party! The staff does a great job keeping the kids engaged and safe. Their experience shows from the second you come in, through the warm-up, breaks, games, and free play. As a parent, it was great to not mess with set up, clean up (Lily won't let you, I tried!), and just enjoy the kids having fun.”

I’ve only been training with him for a few weeks so far, but am already feeling a huge difference in strength and flexibility, not to mention significantly reduced stress and better sleep! “Awesome experience at Pacific Crest CrossFit. I was greeted by the owner and he introduced me to the coach who was going to instruct the class I was in. The coach then asked about any possible injuries I might be dealing with then gave me a tour of the space. The class began and they went over the entire workout and had everyone introduce themselves. They had great coaching cues and were very clear with the instructions. This was one of my CrossFit drop in experiences. Pacific Crest CrossFit exceeded in every category of what to expect from an awesome CrossFit gym. 5 stars and well deserved!!!”

“Hands down best gym in Portland!I was looking for strength training and morning group classes. After trying several others in the area, Intrepid is the clear winner.The coaches are experts and explain everything clearly with a focus on structure. Especially if you’re new to lifting or getting back into a fitness routine (like me!), this is a great place, and they have all kinds of options for those who are more advanced. They offer lots of corrections and modifications.I’m someone who hesitated at the “crossfit” label, but Intrepid has a welcoming atmosphere and focus on doing what’s right for your body.As a bonus, everyone is just good people. I can’t recommend intrepid enough!”
