I took my VW Routan in twice for two unrelated problems..new radiatir/thermostat. Then on another visit my heater core hose and valve replacement. They were very courteous, professional and even showed me the problem under the hood. I didn't have a ride so they dropped me off at home (3 miles away) and picked me up the next day. Ithe shop and lobby are very clean and I would highly recommend this repair shop.

Not NAPA. The district manager, Aneil told me Andrew refused to update his franchise in 2019. At this point he says they hardly even buy any parts from them anymore. My truck didn't have a problem with the throttle body before his manager he wouldn't even let me speak with, called to say it needed replaced or rebuilt assured me that is what was making it stall in turns and at idle after warming up. Which was my only issue when I brought it in on a recommendation by a more reputable tire center. After three times back in three days, it lacked power and still idled way higher than 700, 1300-1400! With constant hesitation, nearly stalling from a dead stop just throttling up, coughing and wheezing. Three people worked on it. One said it's a carburetor (!) and that one also used a large drill bit to send aluminum shavings all over the intake manifold in front and over the engine. I got barely made it home the third day, after they reset timing 20 degrees retarded, and this is why the second Napa warranty shop which it turned out they would not warranty Andrew's deplorable services, they thought the *mechanic drilled into a factory original cap over an air flow adjustment screw, and messed up the original GM factory TBI air setting. Rob's Auto closet to my home is where they found these glaring issues. Also I called NAPA corporate and they made a claim and when no one called me relisted it urgent and notified their managers of Andrew's breaking my family's only vehicle. At home I barely turned the throttle to heat the wheezing and sputtering up close and the TBI exploded in my face. I called again for a fourth return and asked for a tow. Andrew became enraged and started screaming at me over the phone how my truck is a piece of s*** etc etc I hung up and called Rob's who tried and got it better but I think the injectors Andrew used we're worse than the originals. They probably came from a scrap yard for all I know. But drilling a hole in the TBI and setting timing badly and then not owning up or making it right, tells me Andrew's "nappy" and Napa themselves too, are to be avoided if you love your car much as we love ours. I'll post an update after taking it to DEQ not to pass because although it would have before I know it won't now. It's not even getting good fuel mileage and I just tuned it up including decarbing the TBI and checking for leaks and the spray which looked great, just before bringing it in for something they had no intention of even diagnosing. Here are some photos of how it looked after Andrew's and Rob's, on 224, who looking at how they replaced the air filter cover. As crooked and squashed as they set up my K&N it took me over an hour to straighten and put it in better. I also found bits metal from the hot air duct in and under the filter, which concerns me too. But the problem isn't better, it still misses just not as much, and still stalls too, and lacks power just as much. You hear a sound in the cab like lifters but duller. I imagine some bit of the duct metal got lodged in one of the intake ports if not a cylinder. By the time we are threw, it'll be a new TBI, including new injectors, a new intake manifold, and possibly new heads, pistons and crank! I feel like I have a solid case for taking these fools to court. Considering they assured me it was the TBI and that if not they would find out and fix whatever it was. But we had a good running truck with only a few minor issues. I tried to explain. Neither shop listened. They did it their way. Now, someone is going to pay.

Fast job but always extra stuff that doesn't need to be paid at shop prices. This time then said my front passenger turn bulb needed replaced, but it was blinking fast which means it works. On the other hand the back one didn't work at all....huh...and they are a mechanic shop?!

Think twice before having your brakes done here. You get what you pay for. I bought the most expensive brake pads and was guaranteed that they would not squeak. Not only do they squeak after two months my rotors on side have a grove this is after they machined them down. This is the first brake job for this truck, bought it new. Now they are telling me they will warranty the brake pads, but I will need new rotors. I regret this purchase. The price should of gave me red flags.

Thanks for looking at my truck and holding it for a few days. Great communication, now I shall save up for the big work that needs to be done to my transmission. Also the tow company you use are great people too. Thanks

If you treat me like I'm a bother imagine how you'll treat my car without price gauging me. You are not the only game in town.

Honest place, great repaires for a decent price. I'm repairing my two cars there for 11 years, even if I need drive to Andrew's 50 minutes from Beaverton. Oil change I do locally in Beaverton, but when I need brake service or something bigger I'm heading to Andrew's and Dave (the mechanic) is taking care of it, and I'm happy of the outcome every time.

This is based off of the phone conversation I had with a technician. My business seemed to not matter to them nor did they care to truly take care to have my business. Customer service over the phone gets customers Into your establishment.

Doesn't it always happen- you need a mechanic when something is wrong and you don't know where to go. It happened to me and I was so glad I found Andrew's AutoCare Center. Dave is terrific...and he know cars! It's rare that you find an auto specialist like Dave who can see it, know it, and fix it! My car has become one of my best friends and I hesitate opening it up to just anybody. Dave has done everything from minor oil changes to major engine work on my car. Dave has my complete trust and I highly recommend him to those who are looking for the very best in auto care.
