Horrible customer service. I'd advise anyone and everyone to shop and get their prescriptions elsewhere. I'm amazed that this store is still in business.

What a pathetic Walgreens location. They are always short staffed, low on inventory, and the workers are not friendly, nor do they know what customer service is. On top of that, they haven't fixed the glass at the front entrance that was broken well over 3 months ago. They patched it with plywood and just left it like that for the past several months. It gives the impression that Walgreens can't afford to fix it. That, along with the low inventory, makes me wonder if Walgreens is in financial trouble. Stay away!

Staff here is horrible. There are very few people who have worked here who have been a ray of sunshine and unfortunately I never see them anymore. My most recent visit I was waiting at the photo desk to be helped. They always seem short staffed, so I never cause a fuss or bring attention, I'll stand there for 10ish minutes usually before I go find a worker. As I was standing, a younger cashier with super short hair (in case management reads this and wants to follow up) was at the front. A homeless man walked in and asked about passport photos. She let him know that the photo machine was down, so he should try another location. He began berating her, became very aggressive and rude and would not leave. He just stood in front of her, towering over her. I could tell she was scared. She called for a manager to come up front, but about 2 minutes later, no one had and the man was STILL standing there. This time, she called for a manager again and was a bit frantic, so her voice was somewhat shrill and loud on the intercom. The manager finally came around the corner and the girl looked so relieved, all for the manager to very rudely and loudly say "DON'T YELL AGAIN." and walked RIGHT past her to come help me. Thankfully, the homeless man had started to wander out at this point, but I was so upset and embarrassed for the worker. To not even ask her what she needs and then to embarrass her so loudly? So unprofessional. While she was checking me out, I said "Just a heads up, there was a really aggressive homeless man who came in the store, I think your employee was really scared." She just ignored me. Great managers you train, Walgreens. SARCASM.

First time back in three years and I remember why I stopped going to this location even though I drive past it 5 days a week. No one would answer the phone so after 15 minutes on hold I took a chance and went in. They didn't have my item and had NO interest in obtaining it from another location OR EVEN TRYING. They must be really really understaffed, or allow long breaks (which would be the one positive I can think of)

DO NOT PRINT YOUR PHOTOS here or they'll get lost and the members will not know what to do. I ordered 3 8X8 Tilepix from here on a Saturday, I was given a confirmation email and a pick up email on Monday morning at around 7:30AM. I went in on Tuesday to pick it up. One of the associates told me she didn't have it, I watched her look through every single box there was. She asked for my phone number, I showed up in the system, the order said it was ready, she told me it can't be because she didn't have it and it canceled. I told her I received cancellation emails before. She looked at me and said wait 48 hours. I said ok. Came back 2 days later because I received yet another email telling me my order was ready, this time it was a different associate, she looked, didn't find it, then told me she didn't find me at all in the system this time. She went and got the same associate that helped me last time, she didn't even look through the pile of mess they had, instead she just said "we canceled it." But I didn't receive a cancellation email? She said she doesn't give refunds and to call corporate. So again, DO NOT print your photos here unless you want them lost and them taking your money.

Dropped off a prescription and they had to order it because they didn't have enough on hand. This was a prescription for my dog, who needs pain meds for cervical spinal malformation. Dropped off on a Saturday, was told it'd be ready by Monday. Monday comes around - not ready. Tuesday - same story. Wednesday I called again and they said they couldn't fill it because the warehouse was "out of stock". And I had to call THEM to get this information. They had no intention of calling me at all - not important to them. When I went to pick up the written prescription they were "unable to fill" - I was treated like s**** Went to Fred Meyer instead. This is not the first time I've had similar issues with other Walgreens locations as well - not by a long shot.

This is a good place to go for Western Union. The manager working (younger, white male) was courteous and helpful. He knew how to do the job, and was efficient with getting the job done well. He was polite and cordial but not sooooo "weird" like everyone in the city of Portland. I was happy to meet a real person, if only for 5 minutes. (note: I had previously gone two places prior, where a female worker atRite Aide told me, "I don't get paid to be on the phone" with regards for me asking her to please call Western Union customer service). (Oregon is a weird state. I grew up and you do the job, don't complain, and then find a better job if you don't like it. When you establish a solid value system, then look for a job relating to that, and in the meantime minimize exploiting people, unnecessarily, if your job says so. Live off credit or savings if you must. Work as hard as they pay you if you have a crappy boss/company 'in charge.' Just don't air your dirty laundry at work and project onto other people for no reason (you never know what someone is going through). Keep your inside voice on the inside. Don't spend what you don't have and can't afford to repay (with a few exceptions of if you can rip off a corporation some how - hahha just kidding (or not). Take a leave of absence if you really can't handle life (it is okay to take time off to heal). Oh, and look good, 'cause you never know when you'll meet the love of your life!(unrelated to the above positive interaction...In Oregon, employees at every other store Portland/surrounding 2+ hrs in any direction -just a bunch of whiners. If you have a roof over your head - and heat - you are doing well. All your limbs. Glasses when you cannot see paid for by mom's insurance ('till age 25). Look at your city Center. Get over your self righteous, spoiled life. Here's a box of tissues.)

The pharmacy is great! I had a great experience with Sarah the pharmacy tech there. She really went above and beyond to help us get the right medication before our trip. The pharmacist was great except for the male pharmacist, can't remember the name, but overall good what we needed and appreciated the help.
