Worst store around Portland/Gresham. High prices, bad customer service, recycle bottle machines constantly have problems. I don't see this store lasting long time.

Have gotten curbside pickup groceries here twice. The 2nd time which was tonight, when I got home I ordered two avocados and they are completely rotten and moldy. Someone needs to be fired for this. Warning to anyone stay away from this place.

6 employees all sitting and doing nothing in front of self checkout. Not one employee working, assisting or interacting with customers. Only self checkout line open. Check cameras to see how efficiently your employees are working around 8:45 pm on 1/29/2024.

I live across the street behind Safeway, and I come to this Walmart ONLY because they take my cans and bottles, but everyday it's always something, the machines are down for self service, so then u have to go to the customer service desk to have them do a hand count. For you that don't know, THE BOTTLE DROP CORPORATION has a deal with all of the local stores not to accept more than 24 cans or bottle from a individual per day, which comes out to a staggering amount of $2.40!!! Nothing to retire on for sure. Now that deal they struck with them is because we're so close to a BOTTLE DROP, so there are time like tonight where I need that two dollars and change really bad so I can get gas to pick up myroommate, we both scrimp and save our money just so we dont add to the homeless problem but im litterally only a late payment away on my maxed out cards from having to live in my car because i have a problem coming up with rent, im not a deadbeat, im newly disabledand the process is really hard to get approved, Regusrdless,that'sjust the stressful part of my life that gets worse when i have a meltdown like i did tonight. SHAME ON YOU WALMART FOR TELLING ME YOU WERE TO BUSY TO HAVE ME GIVE YOU 24 BOTTLES TO CASH OUT, , YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER OVER THIS, IM GOING TO DROP EVERYTHING I GET FROM YOU STARTING TOMORROW IM GOING TO STAND OUTSIDE UR STORE WITH A BIG SIGN TELLING PEOPLE TO BOYCOTT YOU, CUSTOMERSERVICE SHOULD B UR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY, OBVIOUSLY, ITS NOT, ILL BE CONTACTING CORPERATE AS WELL SHAME ON YOU, YOU SIGN SAYS NEIGHBORHOOD MARKETPLACE??????? Pharmacist can't seem to get to work on time so they don't open the pharmacy for 20 minuets past 10, employees hang out in the closed pharmacy and snarkily answer the phone as if it was an inconvenience to them that I needed to pick up a prescription and expected the doors to be open.

I definitely appreciate the ability to shop for groceries online in the comfort of my own home. In the time of my choosing. Then you simply choose a time to go pick up my groceries from the Walmart neighborhood market is convenient and just a fantastic experience. There are times when items are out of stock and substituted for similar items.I appreciate the ability to Not enter the store and still get groceries.

Even though the holidays are here, this walmart is always pretty well stocked. Plus I love that they have things you can't always find in another atores.

I raced up here to get in there before they close 10 minutes are still left and they have locked the doors and will not let anybody in. I needed to grab one item and they stand there and tell me no they close the doors and lock them at 10 minutes till so the Internet advertises that they’re still open, but technically they won’t let you in. I don’t even know why I shop here to be honest Safeway is 100 times better and they don’t close early and do that to their customers I mean the store is full of people still and this guy would not let me in at all Unbelievable terrible customer service. If it wasn’t for the lower prices I would never come here again I’m so disgusted right now I raced across town getting here before 10 o’clock and they wouldn’t let me in when they still have all these customers in the store. They don’t care about the consumer it’s all about them getting to go home early.So just to let you all know unless you’re 15 minutes early you’re not getting in that door if it’s close to closing time

Beware - they do not offer any paper or plastic bags. I understand that single use plastic bags are bad for the environment, but why no paper bags that can be recycled? I hadn’t been to this location recently and was unaware of this, and had to purchase 5 reusable bags just to get my groceries home. If you do curbside pickup they’ll just put your groceries loose in the back of your car if you don’t bring bags. Surely manufacturing all of those “reusable” bags is worse for the environment than paper, right? Also, the taco dip I bought was moldy when I opened it.

My local Walmart. Most of the time has what I'm looking for. Unfortunately they don't rotate the produce well. I've found mold growing on my fruit on 3 different occasions so I just stick to new seasons market for my fruit and veggies.

Literally 4 employees standing around watching while there is huge lines building up. Please don't be bothered to do work at all while at work just stand there and stare at me. Record profits but can't hire cashiers or employees that can do anything other than stare and presumably watch for theft

I know it's a Walmart, so my expectations aren't that high, but the customer service at this location is horrible. I pushed the button to get a gallon of windshield fluid, seriously. A lady who seems to be the manager walked by and did nothing. I went to the front and they asked me to stay there and someone would show up. Guess what? No one did. I'm a patient person but whoever is in charge of this location needs to train their staff better. They aren't good at customer service at all.
