2 guys came to my door and hooked me up with a Verizon phone plan, promising a home internet plan bundle aswell. After I got the phone in, I find out home internet isn't included but separate, also, the phone was too small for my hands compared to my other phone. So I kept my home internet and went to get a exchange and these guys said since I opened the box, it'd be $50 to exchange it. I said don't pull that fee on me so we went ahead and got the phone exchanged since the manager seemed to give the person helping me a go on it.At the last minute they added the $50 to the down payment on bit of a bigger phone. I walked out. Went to 2 other Verizons and was suggested to call customer service. Ended up getting the $50 as a credit on my account. Now what they also failed to do is tell me they have a bigger phone of the same kind.Again, how the hell would I know what the phone looks or feel like when these two shills came to my door and promised something that isn't true and got me signed up for a phone I have no idea what it looks or feels like in my hands? And to try to charge me $50 for the open box? I understand if I had gone in the store myself and looked at the phones in person but to still do that after the fact? Wow.Restocking fee? More like, CORPORATE GREED.

Changing phone carriers is never something many look forward to - let alone, cross their mind. However, when rumors were leaked that T-Mobile would be moving legacy plans to their newer plans, this immediately became something I constantly thought about as I couldn't afford to pay double the price. One of the first stops I made was the Verizon store at Gresham Station. Andrew immediately greeted me and let me explain the situation while understanding that I was only in the research phase and would not be signing/transferring anything until the news was confirmed the following week. This didn't phase Andrew at all - in fact, he continued to work with me to find a plan that suited my needs without using any sales tactics. When we finally aligned on a plan that matched, Andrew handed me his business card and said that I could text him with any questions. Little did he know, I would be taking him up on his offer and asking him questions every other day for the next two weeks. During those two weeks, I went to AT&T and sadly admit, other Verizon branches to see if the offers varied and out of all of these experiences, none of them compared to Andrew's. The level of care, and willingness to work with me and remember the facts is what made me return to officially become a Verizon customer! Even after signing the contract and needing to wait to port the number over because of my complex situation, Andrew still worked with me instead of telling me to call customer service. His level of dedication to serve the needs of the consumers is why I am happy to have become a Verizon customer and will not be switching phone carriers anytime soon.

Absolutely abhorrent! I waited for thirty minutes and spent another thirty minutes picking a phone and plan. The sales person added on $18 per month for insurance and a one time fee of $29.99 (to setup the new phone) without permission. Once this was corrected, I paid over $1,200 (for new phone and two cases). While reading the contract, I noticed Verizon was trying to have me sign a clause say I am responsible for making 36 monthly payments towards the cost of my new phone. I declined to sign this as I just paid for the phone in full. I then asked what happens to the $530 credit (paid back to me in the form of a discount on my phone service over 36 months) if I end my service prior to the end of the 36 month period? The sale person said I would forfeit any further reimbursement beyond what I received (in credit) over the length my service. So if I canceled the service after a month, Verizon would keep a phone they valued at $530 (less the one time credit of $27). I said No! The manager said but that is just what we do. Read your contracts Verizon is defrauding you.
