I really like how they serve us, they are very friendly and the good thing is that they have a person who speaks Spanish ☺️

Horrible they say open at 7am we were there at 7:20 we left to find another which also was horrible. I called back to see if opened & their call center said "OH they have a habit of NOT OPENING ON TIME" OMG we had just drove 24 miles to get there. They wanted us to drive another 25 miles to a different one of their clinic. WRONG WENT TO COMPANION PET GOT EXCELLENT CARE & SERVICE. We had to put our precious baby down & Im glad we had gone to COMPANION PET their care & treatment of us & our precious baby was so caring and gentle. This place that advertised being open at 7:00 & doesn't on a regular basis should just CLOSE.

I feel like I’ve been scammed after my appointment for my cat. I will NEVER return with any pet. Shame on them

Leaving this review so they can maybe fix this issue. But i called to try to schedule a wellness exam for a new cat, and the automated system read me their hours of operation and then hung up on me, even though it's currently during their stated open hours. ? I called 3 times with the same result.I ended up scheduling with Mt Hood Pet Medical Center since they answered their phone.

2nd vet that could only guess at the condition of our cat. Unfortunately she passed away sick while on prednisolone steroids they prescribed her while basically just guessing at her illness at after doing testing. Remember folks, vets aren't real doctors so don't expect them to fix your pet when they've become ill. Unless you've got thousands to pay for testing that may or may not be conclusive. They probably don't know any more than you do. Either that or they aren't willing to tell you unless you've coughed up a couple of paychecks.

Our 11-yr-old yellow lab had a seizure greeting me when I got home. She also excreted a vial-smelling liquid from her anal glands at the same time. I had considered VCA my go-to vet for our dog until now. They wouldn't even take two minutes to speak with us about what happened: "We don't take emergencies." The receptionist told me. Instead, she told us to drive another 4+ miles to the pet hospital. At least there, they sent out a tech and calmed me down, saying that she probably had a seizure and that we should keep an eye on her and get her in if she has another one. I will NOT be going back to VCA ever again! They don't care about your animals.... Just about the almighty dollar!!!!

Does anyone else find that most veterinary clinics in Portland are going to pot?VCA is a diamond in the rough. A fraction of the price of most clinics in Portland with better service.People here seem to actually enjoy their job and care about your pets wellbeing. The one and only downside is that they are always busy (I assume because everyone is transferring to this vet lately.) You have to chedule well in advance for regular appointments and there's only a slim chance they'll have space for an emergency visit.

I have always had positive experiences at VCA’s in Portland. So we decided to make this our primary care for our three herding dogs. The vet and tech were awesome. Very kind appreciated our active dogs and gave good care. It was nice to see a vet who seemed to love her job.

Wonderful care! Great scheduling options, friendly and easy check in & check out process The Dr called and went over all care options and their costs. They've been my go to for pet care for 20 years now.

The vet Flannery is super nice and helpful. She even called to check on my dog the next day to make sure he was doing well. I highly recommend them to everyone that loves their fur baby.

I just wanted to say thank you to the people who work at this location. Today I brought in some stray kittens that were found. I had no appointment. I just took them in because they were closest and one of the kittens was in desperate need of help. Without hesitation they immediately took such fast action and care trying to help the poor little kitty. I am so grateful that there are people who truly care about the animals here.

They love animals and it shows! We bring in our furbabies for their shots, bumps, and/or other needs. They will work with you for appointment times and with medication choices. Best vet clinic in the area.

I have been going here for several years and my dog has received nothing short of above and beyond care! All of the vets at this animal hospital are amazing, but Dr. White I’d exceptional and I am so grateful for the staff here. My dog had bilateral TPLO surgery among several other emergencies and VCA was always able to see her the next day after an urgent or emergency situation! They are amazing here!
