I have never spent $435 to get my taxes done. . I literally have one job. I have a house and I have two kids. I came up with the same numbers as they did in 10 minutes on turbo tax.but I also second-guess myself, and thought I would pay to have someone do it because I wasn’t confident in doing my own. I understand they’re running a business but dammm.

The staff is pleasant and my wife and I had no issues with the quality of work, but we do feel the price point is extremely steep. With nothing but our income amount changing year to year, these guys charged us almost 800 dollars. On top of that they let us know that we will be charged an additional 5 percent next year. The service is good if you choose to pay that amount, but we will not be returning.

Tax payer BEWARE!!! We received a letter form the IRS saying we owed more taxes from two years ago. So, I brought my taxes to this place and they quoted me $75 to $100 to look at them. Then charged me $150 in the end. They said they told me it might be more but that’s not how I remember it. I specifically asked about how much the charges would be. Then to top it all off Dana could only tell me that we owed the taxes with NO EXPLANATION of why! I asked again and again why we owe them because I wanted to know if it was something I had done wrong or was it the program that I used for the taxes. All she would say was that we owed the taxes and if I wanted her to tell me the reason why I would have to pay more money for her to tell me. She had to have had some reason of why she thought we owed the taxes but couldn’t seem to tell me. When I picked up my taxes and paid the $150 bill that didn’t answer my questions. I told the receptionist how unhappy I was and she promised to let the owner know. That was almost two weeks ago and I haven’t heard anything! If you go to this place make sure you get everything in writing about how much they will charge and that they will answer the questions you brought to them in the first place.

I went to tax minimizers in Gresham and it was a huge mistake. Nothing but wasted time and frustration. Once they get your money their work is done. The workers here are incompetent, rude, and don't care about completing your tax matters in a timely matter. I went to meet up with Dana and told her that I wanted to submit an offer in compromise with the IRS. She told me everything that needed to be done and for me to sign the contract and pay a $1,500 retainer fee. In their contract it states that if they were unable to hear from me in a month that they are able to cancel my contract. I was very aware of this and made sure I sent everything swiftly. Afterwards, she emails me a list of things to send to her. On September 26th, I sent everything over to her and emailed asking to let me know if anything else was needed. She responds and says she will let me know. A few months go by and I haven't heard anything from Dana. I figured that the IRS is backed up and we were just waiting. But this was not the case at all. Dana emails me on December 2nd and states that she needs me to resubmit everything as she was unable to open my POA form I had sent. You got to be kidding me! Over two months go by and she couldn't tell me that sooner? I was beyond angry and frustrated. I then respond to her email showing her my forms I sent to her and her response. She emails me back and states that she spoke to me by phone and made note that I would be mailing it to her. Which is a complete lie! I never spoke to her on the phone, ever. Only time I spoke to her was during our initial meeting. She also stated that her team emailed me on October 18th about the missing forms. Which is another lie! I asked her for proof of that email and she stated she couldn't show me since it was another colleague that sent it. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I knew I had to speak to a manager as I'm sure they would have a better answer for me. I was completely wrong again. Every time I called I was unable to reach anyone. It was like they were hiding from me. I told the office assistant that I did not want to speak to Dana as I had already heard all her lies and there was nothing else I needed to hear from her. The following day what happens? Dana calls me so I tell her that I didn't want to speak to her and lost all trust and faith in her. And that I did not want her working for me anymore. How can I trust her to represent me to the IRS when she can't even complete an application in over two months? I then miraculously find the office managers email. I told her that I needed to speak to a manager. She then responds that someone would be reaching out to me. It ended up being another member from Dana's team which I not want to speak to. Pam, which I end up finding out is actually the owner, finally emails me back using the same excuses that Dana told me. She defended her worker without even listening to what I had to say. She also stated how an offer in compromise is a very lengthy process and a prompt response and follow through are vital. Is she serious?! Her worker took over two months to tell me she couldn't open my attachments. I have all the proof that everything Dana and Pam claimed had happened is completely fabricated. I called my phone company and they went through my call log and I have proof that no one ever called me on October 26th from their office. So how did Dana have a note stating she called me? Is it because she wrote it after our conversation? Also, I checked my email history and did not see anything from anyone in their office on October 18th. It's a shame that a company has to go this far by lying and deceiving to cover their tracks. It's bad that you have to deal with a bad employee but worse when the owner is just as bad by trying to defend and cover up her employees negligence. If you are looking for a firm that is responsive to your needs, do not hire them. Stay away from this place!
