Can't say I will be coming here for tax services again. Prices have increased, my appointment was rushed and no time was taken to do a detailed review. I came back to sign and pay and request a few minutes to review my file with Christy before it was submitted but was told no! If that's how I'm treated as a client that a few minutes can't be spared for review and a total of 10 minutes was spent with me altogether, why would I come here again or let alone a new client?

I have been going Christy for several years to get my taxes done. My parents have also been clients as well for years. I called this year to schedule and said they are no longer able to see me as a client due to me going through a divorce and will only be seeing my husband as a client. Difficult to be turned away after an already challenging year and a divorce is completely unrelated to having taxes done. I unfortunately wouldn’t recommend due to the poor treatment and my ex husband won’t be returning either.

I wanted to address Bailey Gilbert's "1 star" review as I was a bit disenchanted by the reasoning behind it. First off, you were a client for "several years" until your divorce, along with other family members. Obviously, until your divorce you must have been highly satisfied with Christy's business practice, work ethic and professionalism to keep giving her your business. Divorces bring about many changes and one of them is in the business of taxes. Conflict of interest not only protects her (Christy) but it also protects YOU going forward. So, instead of writing a poor review which has zero to do with her ability, why didn't you ask her for a referral to another reputable person to do your taxes going forward?Google reviews are meant to review the business, not your personal feelings of being hurt when in the long run, Christy was only looking out for your best interest. You really owe her an apology and the removal of your review.

I have used Landmark for years. Christy is thorough and very knowledgeable. Our Trust requires filing in multiple states, no problem. Similar situation with my son's taxes; multiple moves and employers in two states while resident in a third and his wife is in the same situation. I wish I had found her sooner..

I wanted to get established as a new client before tax season, instead of waiting until nearer the end of the year when it's much harder to become a new client of a tax preparer. Got a really snippy response to my inquiry made through their website stating that are not taking any new clients. Not even "not at this time" or "contact us again later." Just, like, "don't contact us again." Wow.
