I purchased a fire arm as well as accessories on a few occasions. Every employee is rude and I'm not sure why because I go in there happy to be exercising my 2A and seeing pictures of my favorite presidents on the wall! I like to support small businesses, but I don't look forward to going in there so I probably never will again. :-( I'm done with terrible treatment.

I'm sorry to say but this place is probably one of the worst place to purchase a gun, ammo or just about anything. Went into this place and of course there were plenty of people in the store. My first time here and didn't realize you needed to sign in. When I did notice and signed in , the man behind the counter looked at me as if it was a bother to help me. Very very rude. I know my weapons as I've purchased many in the past. Was looking for a place that I could buy from as I like to keep it local and am new to the area. Sorry to say that I wouldn't spend my hard earned money at the establishment. They have there favorite local people and that's fine. I won't be one of them. Definitely steer clear of this place as there are other places to do business with.

Great place to shop for your sporting needs. Friendly staff and best prices

I reluctantly have purchased several firearms from them. I refuse to go in there again. The staff always seems like they’re being put off by anyone asking questions or shopping. Like they’re too good to help you. I thought it was just my experience, but nearly every person I’ve ever talked to regarding Keith’s has shared the same thoughts and experiences. I won’t even use them for transfers or online purchases.

I bought my first rifle here back in 2018 and had a great experience. Recently, I went in again to pickup a couple items I had shipped here and the staff were incredibly rude and not helpful at all. I also disagree with the “first come first serve policy”. It’s not hard to set up and manage an appointment program versus having customers wait 45+ minutes each time they show up. You can find much better FFL and sporting good stores around the Portland and Gresham area.

Best selection and best prices on firearms in Oregon, period, end of story. If you are some half illiterate redneck, goober, who expects to be treated like royalty because your spending (in your mind) a few hundred bucks, on some garbage low end production firearm with a ten dollar profit margin, don't expect to be waited on as if you are something worth noting. If you didn't notice the line out the door it's a volume sale business. Not a massage the minimum wage workers ego and self esteem counter. Also if it is your first purchase and again you are shelling out your allowance money for some cheap crap, do not expect to be walked over the short hurdles for an hour, before deciding on what disposable plastic nonsense dispenser properly emphasizes your new found bad bitch persona. Given the price point and obvious lack of margin therein, it is assumed that you are at least competent to own a gun and have some idea of what you want before coming to buy a gun. Three hundred and seventy five dollars is not big money. You are not important. Please get over yourself. This is not Burger King and there are no minimum wage employees obligated to prop up you and your failing self esteem. This is not a service offered. But if you actually came to buy a gun, are reasonably competent and again here for that service specifically....Then Keith's is the very best in the business by a mile. Once again if you didn't notice by the sign in sheet and customers around the block. As for the rest of you malcontents, you will not be missed. I will still be spending my money here, along with thousands of others. I buy very expensive things rather frequently. But because I am here for that purpose and not to have my ego propped up it does not bother me that they don't swoon as if I am a foreign dignitary. The 15% under market average on a several thousand dollar purchase and fast checkout is quite sufficient. For the rest of you whiny needy types I would suggest one of the not packed gunshops in town. You know the ones where they have the time to coddle your pathetic feelings, because you are the only fool in the shop and they can afford to do so, because they are not volume dealers and the labor to massage your ego is clearly built into the price of the purchase. So once again if you want massive selection at best in class prices go to Keith's. If you want to be treated like semi literate, Boring Oregon, inbred royalty, because you are dropping most of your minimum wage paycheck on some tacticool, plastic space gun, nerf chain blaser, nonsense go absolutely anywhere but here. Your feelings will not be coddled and once again I can not stress this enough .... You will not be missed!

As a disabled veteran of two wars, this has been the worst gun shop experience I have ever had. As soon as I walked in, they were rude, short and started cracking jokes about me wearing a mask. My mother has cancer and I still wear masks as she goes through chemo. This gun shop is highly toxic and not a friendly environment for anyone who doesn't support/endorse their political views. Should have listened to the 3 star rating! There is a WAY better shop down the road!! Complete 180 on service and attitude. Ditch Keith's Sporting Goods and head down the road!

Used to go there a lot. I had seen the owner have a short temper before and then experienced it. I felt I was getting a low ball price for a couple of guns for sale. Kieth was already smirking when he glanced at me guns. I was disappointed and said I probably would not do business there anymore. Kieth called me a butto along with his derogatory remarks. IF I go back, I won't work with Kieth. The rest of the staff is fine.

I went in to Keith's to have my 2 rifles bore sited in and have the scopes leveled. I showed up about 40 minutes before closing and Joe not only helped me, but went above and beyond. He overlooked both rifles and made sure everything was top notch and even found a few problems for me (without me asking). Great customer service and top quality work.

The sign in sheet is a horrible idea. Whoever came up with it must not want customers. The staff are unfriendly so maybe they really don't want customers. People have to sign in just to buy something small like a magazine. I went in there and asked if they had any castle wrenches and was told to put my name on the list. I have a better idea for you guys. How about you make a list for gun purchases and a list for quick sales. The way it's ran right now is time consuming for customers who just need to be in and out real quick. I had a gun transferred here and was notified via email that my gun had been delivered. I go in put my name on the list. Have to wait 30 minutes just to talk to an employee. I said my gun was transferred here, it was just delivered. I was told that I had to wait for them to call me before I can come in and start the process. So I wasted 30 minutes of my time just to be told this information when they could have told me this right when I walked in the door if they were actually friendly people and greeted customers. Anyway, I leave even though the dude could have just went in the back found my gun and started my background. He ended up calling me an hour later saying my gun is ready. That means I get to come back in put my name on the list wait around even more just to do a background that takes 10 minutes if that. My background didn't clear before the store closed so I ended up going in the next morning wasting more of my time on the waiting list just to pick up my property. Point being the list is a horrible idea and the staff are not friendly.

WA resident here. Came down to check out the FN Reflex in person because it's hard to find one in WA. They have a lot of weapons and accessories; the case of sights had me drooling. Sam helped us and was very helpful, more so than any other gun shop we've been to. He didn't talk down to me or make me feel dumb being that I'm a female with not a lot of experience yet. He gave me several options and offered helpful advise letting me take my time to compare. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend!

Employees were fine, but items were overpriced, and they offer very little in terms of trade in value for other firearms. 30% msrp if you have a brand new gun to sell or trade.

This establishment treated me fairly up until this last visit. I was upset at an offer for a couple of guns. I only said to my friend, "I guess I won't be coming back here". He then yelled at my going out the door and called me a butt. This was twice in one week Kieth (yes, the owner) yelled at customers. His attitude is hostile and he escalates situations. I would have spent more money there, but not now. He's lost my business due to pride.

Seems like most of the people leaving 1 star reviews are mad they had to wait for other customers to be served. Sign in on the sheet when you come in and be patient. They will get to you! Don't be an entitled butthead, this is their shop and you should respect it.

They are the Feds! They will report any "suspicous purchases" (according to their interpretation), to the ATF. If you wish to be scrutinized or ratted out for believing in the 2nd Amendment, give them your business. Otherwise, I suggest going elsewhere to be protected from unjust and undue federal scrutiny. They will "tread on you".
