Great selection for fabrics and sewing, also has craft supplies. I've no idea if prices are competitive, but I presume they are.

I was very impressed with the Gresham Joann store. Lots and lots of fabric and beautiful pieces of fabric. All kinds of notions and different items to purchase. This store is superior to most of the other Joann stores in the area. The service at the checkout was very friendly and prompt. The store was clean, which I can't say for the Tigard or the Oregon city stores. They must be different owners of the building.

Needed to run an urgent errand to Joann for work, the store it self was 25 min away from me and I made sure I was still making it before they close. I came 10 minutes before closure and they did not let me in. Were extremely rude. Definitely do not recommend this store. I left very disappointed and had to go to multiple other stores after to find what I needed. I'm just more disappointed about the customer service. I asked nicely if I could grab one thing very quickly and the answer I received was very unprofessional and rude.

The new location/remodel looks amazing! The associates are friendly, the store is clean, and all departments are organized. I want to give a shout out to Sunny at the register, she was absolutely wonderful. Her kindness is really appreciated :^) Will definitely be visiting for all of my craft and DIY needs.

Joann's Fabrics has faced a couple of controversies over the years, which I can provide information about.1. Fabric origin labeling: In 2011, Joann's Fabrics faced a class-action lawsuit over claims that they mislabeled the origin of their fabrics. The lawsuit alleged that Joann's Fabrics falsely labeled products as "Made in the U.S.A." when they were actually manufactured in other countries. This controversy raised questions about the accuracy of their labeling practices.2. Fabric content accuracy: In 2015, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issued a complaint against Joann's Fabrics for misrepresenting the fiber content of its bamboo fabrics. The FTC claimed that the company labeled rayon fabrics as "bamboo," which is a violation of the Textile Fiber Products Identification Act. Rayon made from bamboo needs to be specifically labeled as such, as it undergoes a chemical process that results in a different product.

Love the new location! They moved i to a much larger space. The cutting counter has a nice check in system and reader board so you can see your place in line. Nice lighting by the thread section, beautiful yarn display. Everything is much more welcoming now. Also it seems to be better staffed than at the old location. Keep it up!
