That place did a mini makeover with brand new shelves and added more merchandise! Now grocery outlet looks bigger and cleaner inside because of the latest remodel. Very nice!?”

“The woman who owns this shop deserves to be the one stop-shop convenience store for everyone in the area. She is very polite, and if you want your money to go to a local instead of a chain, this is your spot.”

“I always seem to find a damn good deal here! Huge pork pork loin on sale and then 40% off...wow! I bought a food sealer and I save big time cutting up my own meats and freezing them if there's too much .... Love this place for the quality and the prices!”

“I had a very pleasnt shopping experience here. I came in and the owner asked me if I had been there before, then when I said I hadn't, but I was looking for something he immediately helped. He explained what different sweets they had and what the flavours were. When my sister and I got to the counter with our stuff, he gave us a candy each just like that.Overall it was a welcoming store and the owner was kind.”

“SIGN UP FOR THE TEXT CLUB. There are so many amazing deals here every couple days the text club is a must have. The place is clean and well organized, only negative is some items are clearly bad or bad when you open them up, but it’s a gamble with the expiration date and product. Otherwise really good store.”

“Stumbled upon this gas station on the way to mount hood. That had what we needed (regular unleaded gasoline - 87 octane). The attendant was all smiles in the sun.”

“Great find! First time here today (just visiting) and I walked into a sparkling clean store, well-stocked and displayed. The produce and meat departments were full of beautiful, fresh food. Every employee I met was smiling and friendly and treated me like a valued customer. Even at the self-checkout, Trinity was very nice even though I didn't need assistance. I will definitely be back to this Safeway.”

“I’ve recently had an injury that makes it difficult to walk. While using the scooter to shop, it died in the middle of the isle. I started walking using my cane as tears ran down my face, “Tim” saw me and when I explained what happened, he went across the store to get me another scooter that worked. Very kind and helpful making sure that I was okay above all. I got to the register and was having trouble getting my cart up to the register. “Christina” came out from behind and calmed me down as I was hurting so bad I was crying. She was super kind and helpful even unloading all my groceries. She then called a young man “Jayden Love” over to assist sacking my groceries. Kindness was overwhelming, which again made me cry. “Jayden” then escorted me to my car and loaded all 11 bags of groceries into my car. He offered several times to help me get in my car too. Overall experience was amazing. In a world where people just don’t seem to care or don’t want to help, I was impressed beyond words by the kindness of these 3 associates. Please be sure to pass along my gratitude and praise for going above and beyond! They will never be forgotten by myself or my Granddaughter! Bravo to you all!”

“Conveniently located, has everything I was looking for (mostly anyway) also a special item I haven't found at Fred Meyer - Darigold's Belgian style buttermilk.”

“It's a neighborhood market so it's not a full Walmart. This store seems to be understaffed but now that i can check out myself it's ok. I love both areas of self check out. This store is always fairly clean and most of the time even the restrooms are good. Their shelves are, like many others, often not fully stocked. Maybe i always go at inopportune times... but thankfully I'm 6' and can reach the top shelf where i literally have gotten the things i need that are not in their normal places. Literally has nearly everything you need for the household. No clothing this is, again, not a full market. But they do have a nice selection of sugar free items. Truly impressed with that. Strange comment but they also carry jumbo eggs which i prefer and i love the everything but the bagel loaf of fresh baked bread. Their grocery area is pretty good and you can get some ok fresh produce deals. All toiletries are typically available or on the top shelf. When you go to the areas that requires an attendant they typically come quickly. The pharmacy is good and very helpful. I've returned some things that i ordered online and never had a problem as the customer service was always good. Definitely a good store to have close....”

“This Walmart Neighborhood Market is my go-to grocery store except for the short/fast trip up the street, which is closer. Today the refrigeration was not working. I still got my creamer that included ice cream. The freezer department is up and running. All the staff is working very hard to keep up making it more convenient for shoppers. I was impressed by how helpful and understanding the staff was. The other shoppers seemed understanding as well. I heard no complaints from Shoppers or staff”

“I'm a nurse and I was helping out a patient on my own time to get some meds that insurance wouldn't cover. I was absolutely amazed at how kind (and competent) the pharmacist was. The pharmacy tech just didn't know how to handle it when it turned out that the med was not available. The pharmacist stepped in without even being asked. He just overheard my conversation with the tech. He spent quite a bit of time online trying to locate the correct medication which has become extremely difficult to locate at all. I left the other prescription my patient needed and went off to Walmart while it was being prepared, hoping that I could find some of this medicine that's so scarce. Walmart, to say the least, not only didn't have it, they were not helpful at all. In the meantime at Safeway the other medication they did have in stock was ready. The tech asked me for $144 for a 5-day supply! That sounds terrible, but at OHSU where they also had a supply, it was over $300. Still I was a little shocked and the tech said that the GoodRx number I had given wouldn't work. This blessed pharmacist stepped in again. He just overheard the conversation again and very kindly said, "We've got all kinds of GoodRx cards around here. I'll find a way to send her home with at least one of the medicines she needs." Instead of $144, I paid $21.95. He ended up spending more than a little time on this. It's not like he kept any other customers waiting. There were pharmacy techs who were able to fill prescriptions so no one had to wait, and he just made it his business to go over and above. The man deserves a medal AND a RAISE. Safeway pharmacy manager, are you listening?”
