The staff here are always SO pleasant and helpful. Great selection of cool stuff. A little bit expensive but that's to be expected with imported goods, so nothing to complain about there. Just a nice, fun place to be in overall.

I purchased my little Koi pond Pizza oven a couple years ago from here. We decided to pop in to see what else they have this past weekend. To my surprise they had so many different sauces for cooking Chimes for your patios, all kinds of really specialty items. I cannot resist buying myself a Mother's Day gift as this little chime was calling my name.

Long Time customer from living in California and I have never had a problem with products from Cost Plus. Unfortunately this is not the case here.
I will warn folks not to trust that snacks, coffee or food items will hold up to the once great reputation of world market. Sadly, we will not be returning.

Some of the food things are stale, so be careful what you get like the Amish popcorn is hard, not fluffy. I bought both the colored and plain.

I've been here plenty of times before, and the variety of things they have is great. It's a place where I get my coffee because they have a nice variety of whole and ground coffee beans. They also have some great sake and tea. The reason for the low rating is that customer service is very unpredictable. It's usually between "alright" and "meh." But two days ago, I went with a friend, and the customer service was the worst I've ever experienced in my life (I wish I was exaggerating). Part of me was debating on whether or not I should write this review, but my experience was so bad I feel obligated to share...After we got our stuff, we walked to the cash register area and noticed a register open, so we walked to it. A younger lady that was there asked if we cut the line. We responded, "I don't think so?" because we hadn't seen a line. Then she asked which way we came from. We were still very much confused because she saw us walk to her... She started scanning a few items, and then she asked again if we cut in front of the line. We said we didn't know, still clearly confused. After she asked, I looked around and finally noticed the line (no thanks to any help from her). It was on the opposite side from where we came from, snaking around some of the shelves. I apologized and offered a couple of times to get our stuff and go to the back of the line, but she said, "No, it's fine. I already started scanning. " She then proceeded to very audibly huff at least 5 or 6 times while scanning our stuff and visibly shaking her head, all while muttering out loud, "This is why we have lines. " After we got our stuff and started to leave, I heard her mutter under her breath, something about using lines while using some curse words. Part of me wanted to stop and say something, but it was already extremely awkward, and I thought it best not to escalate the situation.I read a review that was written a couple of weeks ago talking about a lady treating the reviewer very rudely, and I wouldn't be surprised if this was the same lady. Apperently, the cashier couldn't be bothered to point us to where the line was and instead thought that embarrassing me and my friend in front of everyone was a better thing to do.I wish I got the name of the lady that rang us up, but fortunately for her, I didn't, and it wasn't on my receipt. I really hope her abhorrent customer service skills improve. If not, I don't want to know what would happen if she encounters a customer who is willing to voice their concerns out loud...Item selection - 9/10Customer service - after this experience, 1/10
